Very subtly put. You always have. The movie bounces between honour killing and casteism and LGBTQ and feminism to every genre every filmmaker who thinks he's gonna ace would dream of. There is even a crude mockery of grandma sentiment which is actually hilarious.The posters kinda reminded me of the posters from the classic almost famous. At 3hrs pa v tries to keep everyone happy. But..hmmm...
BR has been criticised a fair bit though when it comes to this new wave of Dalit movies but I think this review,his learning and growth is there to see. Thank you for that.

Dear Baddy: Tamil Cinema still needs more qualified film critics like you. Tamil films are made in 100s and 100s every year but we do not even have 10% of qualified, authentic, independent, and fair critics in the market. UA-cam is a boon and also a bane for freedom of speech. Film Criticism does have a qualification called Film Appreciation Certificate. I strongly recommend people to study it full and get themselves certified before they jump into critquing films. You're there but none of them yet there is the sad part...
