Those tires must not be good on the Ford. I got some KO2s and my f150 when in 4 hi has never been tested. Haven't had to put it in 4lo yet. The guy who had the tires before I bought them (his truck totaled) didn't rotate them properly so I have the ones with the least amount of tread on back.
One tip…. AIR DOWN to 20 PSI when off road in deep sand or mud

Trail grapplers are great in the mud and they were new, I just used 4lo to test it out and 4hi works much better because of the higher wheel speed
