I would highly recommended hitting on the hardest difficulty with the fastest pitch speeds, it just comes out with the most realistic stats in my opinion same with pitching on the third hardest difficulty.
Whatever settings he has it on suck, hitting way too easy.
I wish he wouldn't have given up so quickly on this series. It could have been a lot of fun had he adjusted some settings.

just like eFootball PES2020, looks better than FIFA20. Konami really improve their sports game now because eSports is a thing in japan right now.

Another fun trick, After the final out in the right and left fielder if you Press Triangle couple times he will throw the ball to the fans
If a pitcher has 2 pitches with same break driection (e.g. changeup and splitter) you can press like R1 or R2 I can’t remember, to switch between them. You say changeup but you were actually throwing a forkball

スライダー Slider (they have the slow and fast variations too)
カット - Cutter
カーブ - Curveball
フォーク - Forkball
チェンジアップ - Changeup
SFF - Splitter
シンカー - sinker

サクルチェンジ - Circle Change (same slot as sinker)

Even though it has been months
You can press the right stick down before selecting a pitch, the pitcher will grab the rosin bag which can help to hit the the release point late in game
That's a cool addition maybe the show could emulate

I think you understand the blue course is safety course when you pitching, and I can understand that from your playing ,I know if we throw same type of pitch and course , batter will hit better.
So, How about change type of pitch and throw it to blue course?

Since this is a "Franchise Mode" save, here's a few notes (I'm not an expert, heck I don't even have the game yet nor do I watch a lot of NPB, so I'm not 100% sure on all of these):
- There's a limit of four foreign players that can be on the 25-man gameday roster (although there isn't a limit to how many you can sign). I have no idea if this is implemented or not.
- No one ever rebuilds in the NPB since the draft is a free-for-all in the first round and a serpentine in the remaining rounds. Also, players take less time to reach the ichi-gun (Japan's equivalent of the major leagues) than they do in the US.
- Not sure how strict the game is on this, but it's pretty hard to "win" a trade in the NPB because of the above.
- The draft is in either October or November, if you're wondering when it is.
- If you sign a free agent who was in the top-ten list of highest paid players on his previous team, the players previous team gets a player from your team as compensation. You're able to protect 28 players of the 70 on your secondary roster, and foreign players and newly-drafted players are automatically protected in addition to those 28.
I have bought every version since 2013. This baseball game trumps all. You need to increase the difficulty to Perfect once you master this difficulty, it will get boring if you don’t increase it. Also for those who want to understand the menus, Spirits Translation is site that helps understand this game.
There is a website spiritstranslation.com that have all the menus translated if you want to improve the difficulty
Started researching this game for my PS Vita (just ordered - will be here Friday) and found your videos. Love the enthusiasm and I have learned a bit from watching you hit. The Spirits Translation website hill be heavily leaned on to help navigate menus and the NPB website will help identify players (since I am unable to read kanji). Thanks for the videos!

Is it just me or is there a weird split second delay when contact is made from the behind the catcher camera view? They've never seemed to fix that.
