Yeah except the difference is the Ruskies we're literally passing clean samples through a hole in the wall after testing facility. It wasn't just some advanced doping program, it was rigging the entire infrastructure of the testing, so they could simply bribe some lab chump to swap the samples and hand them through a literal hole in the wall. You are absolutely correct that many other countries have had state sponsored programs and there's doping in many other countries. But none went to the extent that Russia did. Seriously look it up.

Anabolic steroids can lead to long-lasting benefits even after discontinuation due to several factors. They promote significant muscle growth and strength, resulting in muscle memory that allows for quicker recovery and regaining of muscle mass when training resumes. Additionally, steroids can increase red blood cell production, enhancing oxygen delivery to muscles, which may persist for some time. The hormonal changes induced by steroid use can lead to elevated testosterone levels temporarily, contributing to sustained muscle mass. Psychological effects, such as increased confidence and motivation, can also encourage continued engagement in fitness. Lastly, changes in body composition, including reduced body fat and increased lean muscle mass, can positively impact metabolism and overall fitness long after steroid use has ended. A notable example is Justin Gatlin, who was banned for four years in 2006 due to doping violations but returned to compete and became the world champion in 2017 at an older age, demonstrating how the benefits of previous training and experience can lead to remarkable achievements even after a significant hiatus.

Biological Passports themselves are not very reliable in detecting banned substances and can ruin someone's athletic career even if he/she never took banned substances in their lives.
Another problem with Biological Passports is that your body chemistry changes over time even if you don't use performance enhancing drugs.
Think about Romania's Simona Halep as one example.

PEDs can allow athletes to train at higher intensities or for longer durations, leading to greater improvements in performance. Some PEDs can help with recovery from intense training or injuries. Faster recovery allows athletes to train harder and more frequently, leading to better overall conditioning.
Athletes typically use these drugs when they are not actively competing, such as during training periods or off-seasons. During this time, they can focus on building strength, endurance, and overall performance without the immediate pressure of competition or the risk of being tested.
In essence, the off-season allows athletes to maximize the effects of the drugs on their physical condition, so that when they return to competition, they can perform at a higher level. The idea is that the improvements made during the off-season can carry over into the competitive season, giving the athlete an advantage even if they stop using the drugs before competitions to avoid detection.
It mentions that an athlete can stop using performance-enhancing drugs a couple of weeks before a competition. This is significant because many substances have a half-life, meaning they can clear out of the system relatively quickly. If an athlete stops using a drug two weeks prior to a competition, it may no longer be detectable in their system during testing.

Now create a documentary about another country that uses it and unpack it, smartypants. The fact stays that no other country on Earth has had as many doping scandals as russia. If you know more, start filming it and discovering it lol

Yes, you're right. And there's no point in saying Russians cheat the most. Since the Soviet bloc opened up, they have more honesty such as the East German records on athletes. There's no point in having a blind spot. You won't get that openess from america or GB. I wouldn't crow about being great about your petro dollar. It's dying so when youre all decimated as was Soviet Union american athletes will take money from film makers to tell the truth about their corrupt system.

29:58 The fact she didn't get the offer.. who needs their secrets to be told? Sad but true. There is no country whos athletes compete on that level and they are naturals. Just need to reset all the records and stop fuelling that much of a hype around olimpic games and other big events. Because it looks like all top performers are fake. Nike is actually gets it right. Real records will be much lower and much less spectacular. We all actually knew about this corruption and have chosen to avoid professional sports because of it..
