If you like these you'll really appreciate the Prime Pinnacles.I have the Pinnacles for front left/right,ultra center and the Prime towers for side surrounds
I am a lucky man, my brother in law has just gifted these speakers to me! They sound amazing and they are a giant leap up from my Energy CF-30 Connoisseurs. He gave the ones in the beautiful piano-wood finish. He got himself some KEF's that cost 5-6 times more, and they do sound better but nowhere near justifying the price difference. I am a very happy guy!
Very excited to have SVS in SA, great video, thanks for sharing the info. Cant wait to hear them in the flesh, especially the Pinnacles! I can see alot of locals upgrading soon… P.s- Audio output was very good.
Great video, thanks! SVS Prime speakers have been on my radar for a while now. I've narrowed down my choices to SVS Prime and B&W 603 S3. I've only had a chance to listen to the B&W 603 S3 so far, but I'm excited to test out the SVS as well. I'm from Romania.
What's so sad is retailers are not setting these up properly. I heard these when taking my buddy to look at TV's and the store just had them sitting on a shelf pumping into an open room, they sounded muddy and flat. So glad I heard them at your place where that mid-punch was there and they were amazing for movies and music. These were amazing, likely as good as my Cornwalls in certain ways at a quarter the price.
The only problem with these speakers at certain times are the high's, female voices and some jazz intrustments can sound piercing to the ears at normal listening level's by some reviews on SVS website.
@@homecinemaking397 don't take my comment literally, just reviews on there website with are most times not honest. Haven't heard them myself but have been watching your reviews and I know your a honest reviewer.👍
@@homecinemaking397 i would say a good all rounder music and movies as i did hear the 8000f ii in person as they have great clarity and punch but not the svs the dealer sell both not svs not in stock and i would have to place and order on them before i prefer to hear them first but your opinion on this if i should take the risk thanks
I own a pair of svs prime bookshelf speakers. They are great. I have also Dali Oberon 5's. They are very good too. Very clear and detailed but Im thinking about Svs Prime towers as I love my svs. Dali Oberon 7 or Wharfdale Lintons are also on my mind. How would you compare them to Svs Prime towers?
@@Paul-mx4fo the prime towers are just phenomenal👌 the Linton is a much different speaker and more old school so i would suggest you try audition both of those.

I think this will depend on amplifier pairing. I experienced non of that.
Could this not be tamed with correct calibration settings as well?
@@ginga11ninjagaming40 always yes👌

How would you say these compare to the Polk R600's? Do the Polks extend deeper?
@@paulgronvall276 these above the polk in sound. Polk will will in looks and finish but these for sound👌
Which amplifier did you use when recording this video?
Marantz cinema 50
i love to watch your video's. i am from the Netherlands
Thank you💪
It makes more sense to cut and rip off the seam tape.
hi how to these compare with klipsch 8000f ii and which one would you recommend.
I would say better, but it does depend on your taste and what you look for in a speaker.
