[NEWS] Charity Golf - Coming Together for a Good Cause

Klang, a city on the Straits of Malacca, has a history of development predating Kuala Lumpur. In the 15th century, it was already an important regional trade port, and its growth was further accelerated by tin mining. Today, Klang is densely populated and rapidly developing. With a growing number of compassionate volunteers eager to serve the community and society, there is a need for a “spiritual home” to support their work.

#高爾夫需要技能 球手因善而相聚
高爾夫球是一項綜合性很高的運動項目，球手不僅需要優秀的身體協調能力，還需要良好的心理素質和計分能力。當年14歲就加入馬來西亞國家隊的黃昱璇，這天參加了一場不同的球賽。
Golf is a multifaceted sport that requires not only excellent physical coordination, but also mental toughness and scoring ability. Winnie Ng, who joined the Malaysian national team at 14, participated in a unique tournament on this day.

跟大家一起有個愉悅時光
I had a good time with everyone,
然後就盡力打就好
and I was just doing my best.
今天滿挑戰性的 果嶺非常快
It was quite challenging today; the greens were quick,
就真的考我很多的耐性
which really tested my patience.
除了打球以外
Besides playing golf,
也想要對社會有幫助
I also hope to contribute to society,
不管多大多小
no matter how big or small,
以我自己的能力去幫助（人）
just help within my ability.
#慈濟實業組志工 籌募愛心築寶塔
馬來西亞慈濟雪隆分會實業組志工，為籌募巴生靜思堂建設基金舉辦愛心高爾夫球賽，吸引了132位高爾夫球愛好者參與，在麗陽鄉村俱樂部的球場上用愛揮杆。
The Tzu Chi KL & Selangor’s Entrepreneurs’ Group organised a golf tournament to raise funds for the construction of the Jing Si Hall in Klang. The event attracted 132 golf enthusiasts who swung their clubs at the Tropicana Golf & Country Resort.

every Charity Golf
我一直以來都是有參與
that Tzu Chi has organised.
所以這一場我也不能落後
Hence, I couldn’t miss this one too.
這樣巧也是為了要籌建這個靜思堂
Since it’s for the construction of the Jing Si Hall,
這個我們也是等於
our participation also signifies
一個去扶持這個靜思堂的誠意
our sincere support for the project.

靜思堂不單單只是
The Jing Si Hall isn’t just
慈濟人的一個心靈堡壘
a spiritual fortress for Tzu Chi people;
更重要的是一個訓練菩薩的中心
more importantly, it’s a training centre for volunteers
也是我們在任何的災難的時候
and a disaster relief centre
去做一個賑災中心
when disasters strike.
所以我們很期待這樣子的
We eagerly anticipate
一個寶塔的出現
the emergence of this treasure tower,
讓我們能夠召集更多的菩薩
which will allow us to gather more living bodhisattvas.
#運動公益相結合 愛灑球手善足跡
結合高爾夫球運動和慈善公益，這場賽事被名為「慈濟愛心高爾夫球賽」。賽事結束後，更邀請眾多的球手深入認識慈濟這個非政府組織。
Combining golf and charity, this tournament was named the ‘Tzu Chi Charity Golf’. After the tournament, participants were invited to learn more about Tzu Chi, the NGO.

Tzu Chi helps in times of need aren’t Chinese.
#巴生寶塔地湧現 期許加入大愛行
巴生慈濟靜思堂預計座落在南部綠林鎮，是個新興的住宅區域人口稠密，希望能接引更多人加入大愛的行列。
The Klang Tzu Chi Jing Si Hall is expected to sit in Bandar Botanic, a newly developed and populated residential area south of Klang, with the aim to inspire more people to join the ranks of Great Love.
