@@OneAndOnlyDave117it's a song about NEXTs drowning in the sea as their thrusters are shot out and they slowly die while working to escape to space, as the surface is almost completely irradiated
I thought it would be a great sendoff, I feel it's a masterfull homage and it always pulls my strings, makes me reflect on the whole journey kinda thing!
2:42 I'm so glad they went with this for the garage theme. The other garage themes are catchy but this feels like I could spend hours shopping for parts, building, coloring, and testing my NEXT while this relaxing music plays. It's amazing.
@@MetalFalcon99 You pretty much were. NEXTs were responsible for the cataclysmic state of the world in 4A, not helped by the fact that every ending had you killing millions of innocents (whether it was the prolonged death of the Collared ending, the Cradle shootdown in the ORCA ending, or you directly killing them in the Destruction ending).
It's mid compared to the original unfortunately. The nonsense lyrics being sung by a native english speaker just doesn't hit the same and feels more stilted.
"Someone Is Always Moving on the Surface" might not be a track you can really jam to, but damn it if isn't the most memorable AC track for me. This might be in part because it was AC4A's title track, so there was no gameplay to distract me from it, lol. But it's just so pretty.
Shape Memory Alloys burned into my Penial gland as I try to formulate the best strategy for the mission while trying to remember the weight limit on my AC, then testing and realizing it moves like crap.
I thought I listened to most of the AC's soundtracks but I honestly missed some of these bangers. My personal unorganized playlist just grew for a few songs
Recently I played armored core nexus for a second time after so many years and DAMN how shining hits hard this song is an absolute banger, reminds me of my childhood Thank you for bringing back some many memories ❤❤
2nd and 3rd gen's drum and bass was the shit dude! sometimes for a change up ill just play other drum and bass mixes over them while playing (annoying on 2 cause you can only turn BGM down to 1 and not 0 lol)
Someone is Always Moving on the Surface is one theme outside of Shape Memory Alloys to stick out, just in how the song potentially has an uplifting hope despite the war between corporations. That is unless you choose a different ending.
Amidst the masses of video games among the multiverse(s) ,Armored Core OST regardless of era will always bring you back to when you were a Raven. Thank you for the sound track. Actually kind of upset that I can't seem to find Seek and Fire anywhere, if anyone has found a video that isn't it connected to the entire rest of the soundtrack in one video would be nice
@@SilverGlint dammit! this is honestly why nobody talks about ac3. such a disappointment. no wonder my father never came back. he went into ac3 looking for milk!

Severe lack of Formula Front
Forgive me for sinning like this, but some bangers have priority 🥸

Bro putting Fall early it instantly made me crying 😭
I'm sorry I had to!
I love how for Rise in Arms you picked the only level to feature it.
It's so memorable don't you think? And Silent Line is my favorite so I'm a bit biased...
@@SilverGlintAs a little boy playing the game, seeing that bastard round that corner was such a morale breaker....
I love how Grid Room is just a mix of the peter gunn theme, and it's still a banger.

There's something about Kota Hoshino's approach to DnB, Breakbeat and Acid that just makes everything feel nostalgic and progressive at the same time.
