I decided, due to community requests, to compile a proper uninterrupted, full length music playlist of all the songs I consider to be the best of the best in the entire Armored Core Discography.
I have since introduced some new tracks and changed my mind on some very few specific ones that I ended up thinking deserve a spot in this list.
This video does not contain every single track ever produced for the series obviously, that would be an absurdly long video and would miss the point. What it does have are the songs that I chose from each individual game that I think represent their best according to my own tastes.

These are taking me back especially ac2 was were I really started cutting my ac teeth.
It's amazing how the mere offhand trivia that AC6 disc 3's "Blackout" conceived was created when Kota was making Stargazer, and made it with a "certain character" in mind made it instantly soar to my top 1 of Disc 3 tracks. Much proprs for including it

the evolution of the music from then to now is crazy. it's especially cool in 4a and vd how they just went even crazier with the music.
So many different genres done over such a long time, I think these soundtracks are very special and inspired in a rare, almost non reproducible way
That Raven's Nest BGM is so unforgettable. It's not the catchiest, but is the ultimate menu/garage ear worm.

I showed up a little late to the party (if you don't consider CHROMEHOUNDS a spin-off AC title, that is) with AC6, but I'm still glad to be here. The music I've discovered was amazing, especially considering how CHROMEHOUNDS really only had a track or two worth listening to, if that. The track listings from some of the third-gen ACs and the fourth gen titles really hit different, though.
The fact that the only AC6 songs that were included come from the disc 3 collection proves beyond all doubt that you are a true Armored Core fan. Go off, king.

This has reminded me of my interest for this series. I had decided to play all the games (started with and finished 4 and 4a, then finished 1) but the poison swamp level in pp has dissuaded me. Until now.

I would recommend either AC 3, AC4 or AC 6! Keeping in mind they are all very different, but those are extremely engaging and beginner friendly!

Top 5 songs? Hmm... prolly Rise in Arms, Scrambling Film, Wallflower, Fake Facer and Someone Is Always Moving On The Surface. There's tons of honorable mentions that make it very close to these songs throughout the AC soundtracks though. Also Silent line is peak.
It's so hard to make an actual top 5, even making a list with these many favorites still has a lot being left out.

I am a bit saddened you did not end up liking or recommending The Perfect Rose from Verdict Day. Its my most favorite garage theme of the franchise and a few remixes out there by fans are amazing.
I definitely get the sentiment but not all of them can get in, sometimes just by a little average score margin. Hope you enjoyed the video regardless!

I think depending on the regulation energy management changes, I'm playing on reg 1.4.
White Glint seems to just be an infinite flight type NEXT here, and my original Moonlit does not have infinite flight but with well timed chain boosting and letting go of regular thrusters while doing so makes it incredibly quick on recovery (using sobrero generator)

Anyone believes there will be another AC Game after Rubicon? I doubt.
I 100% think there will be more than one game even, AC6 has shattered expectations by a large degree and consumers are putting it next to the all time greats, I think there's a lot of room to improvement and for growth!
it would make no sense for them to develop a game for 6-7 years and then do nothing more. though i do hope they take a step back and rethink some stuff they did in 6
