Just a little note, this video was premiered and as such there was a live chat event which absolutely rocked my world, thank you to all Ravens that participated. If you're coming into this playlist after the premiere expired I HEAVILY recommend you enable the chat replay and set the filter to SHOW ALL MESSAGES so you can experience the whole thing!
it was pretty fun I will admit, also thanks for showing me cinders, mech dinosaur, vendetta, and the Nine (novem), these will definitely be going in my playlist
It's amazing how the mere offhand trivia that AC6 disc 3's "Blackout" conceived was created when Kota was making Stargazer, and made it with a "certain character" in mind made it instantly soar to my top 1 of Disc 3 tracks. Much proprs for including it
@@SilverGlint Even though I missed the premiere I really loved the interaction of the other Ravens and their opinions on the soundtracks and games. Excited to see more of your AC content!
The fact that the only AC6 songs that were included come from the disc 3 collection proves beyond all doubt that you are a true Armored Core fan. Go off, king.
I showed up a little late to the party (if you don't consider CHROMEHOUNDS a spin-off AC title, that is) with AC6, but I'm still glad to be here. The music I've discovered was amazing, especially considering how CHROMEHOUNDS really only had a track or two worth listening to, if that. The track listings from some of the third-gen ACs and the fourth gen titles really hit different, though.
I never got to play any of the PS2 AC games. Armored Core 1 was one of TWO games in my entire life of which I skipped school to keep playing it. I was by no means an angel in elementary school XD. The custom badges and paint schemes, combined with Shape memory alloys... just bliss..
This has reminded me of my interest for this series. I had decided to play all the games (started with and finished 4 and 4a, then finished 1) but the poison swamp level in pp has dissuaded me. Until now.
It speaks VOLUMES that there is no base AC6 music here. I understand they wanted to play it safe because Souls brought in a much larger audience for FromSoft games, but Hoshino rock is a HUGE part of the oppressive, melancholic atmosphere in these games.
Halfway Unit, back again. Thanks for the great playlist. Been using it to improve at Street Fighter 6. Will see about playing one of the armored core games when I get the chance. Which should I start with?
I would recommend either AC 3, AC4 or AC 6! Keeping in mind they are all very different, but those are extremely engaging and beginner friendly! Thanks for watching.
There's no day where I wouldn't listen to AC soundtrack. Seriously, I am too addicted to it, especially to Silent Line, Nexus and Gen 4 OST. Thank you for the playlist.
The national anthem of the 5th towards all the other generations is: WHY DON'T YOU COME DOWN @ 02:10:15 Fulfilling my morale obligation of providing watch time on the 5th generation OST in this video. You will definitely see it within your analytics, RAVEN. Thanks for the good time! ^_^
Being here for the premier was a spiritual experience. Also I’m curious, why did you include The Answer but not other fan works in this and the ranking video? Like USUDA’s remixes?
I am a bit saddened you did not end up liking or recommending The Perfect Rose from Verdict Day. Its my most favorite garage theme of the franchise and a few remixes out there by fans are amazing.
Top 5 songs? Hmm... prolly Rise in Arms, Scrambling Film, Wallflower, Fake Facer and Someone Is Always Moving On The Surface. There's tons of honorable mentions that make it very close to these songs throughout the AC soundtracks though. Also Silent line is peak.
@SilverGlint Also, thanks for making these AC music vids. AC music and the series in general is something special. " When something is alive, it doesn't die easy"
Honestly I haven't listened to them very exhaustively but there are a lot of great tracks there, just to confirm are we talking about the "Original Music Files" special set for the first generation or something else entirely?
I think depending on the regulation energy management changes, I'm playing on reg 1.4. White Glint seems to just be an infinite flight type NEXT here, and my original Moonlit does not have infinite flight but with well timed chain boosting and letting go of regular thrusters while doing so makes it incredibly quick on recovery (using sobrero generator)
Did you use the 20th Anniversary Boxset as your source for the tracks? If so, you might wanna search for the individual releases of the tracks and give them a couple more listens. The boxset's mixing is pure an utter garbage and does NOT represent the quality of many AC tracks (Especially with LR and 4)
I 100% think there will be more than one game even, AC6 has shattered expectations by a large degree and consumers are putting it next to the all time greats, I think there's a lot of room to improvement and for growth!
it would make no sense for them to develop a game for 6-7 years and then do nothing more. though i do hope they take a step back and rethink some stuff they did in 6

the evolution of the music from then to now is crazy. it's especially cool in 4a and vd how they just went even crazier with the music.
So many different genres done over such a long time, I think these soundtracks are very special and inspired in a rare, almost non reproducible way
