When the conjunction "in order to" is followed by a different subject, make sure you use its slightly different version which is "in order FOR SOMEBODY to". Compare the two sentences: I will go over this report now in order to take some notes for the meeting. (I will go over this report. I will take some notes.) I'm sending you this report in order FOR YOU to take some notes before the meeting begins. (I'm sending you this report, but YOU should take some notes.) So, when you STOP referring to the SAME person, you must use "in order for someone to" instead of "in order to". I'm an English teacher and I upload video lessons every week. I do hope this helps!
