  • AIR PEACE London Launch - Should Nigerians Support Air Peace? Lets BE HONEST 🙄🙄
    Air Peace recently launch their London/Lagos route but should ALL Nigerians Support Air Peace. In this video I am sharing my UNFILTERED thoughts on this. Some have said Air Peace doesn't belong to Nigeria but just to certain tribe because of their uniform.
    As one of Nigeria's leading airline, Air Peace carries the aspirations of millions of Nigerians, promising connectivity, safety, and economic growth. But is blanket support for Air Peace justified? Let me know your thoughts on this.

    Funke, you couldn't be more correct. As a Nigerian who has lived in the U.S. for over thirty years, I appreciate the magnitude of what Air Peace has done. I admire the courage and tenacity of Mr. Allen Onyema. Why? I know the economic impact. When we plan trips to Nigeria, a significant portion of the trip goes to the airfare. Depending on one's income level, a trip back home will require savings. It will necessitate sacrifice. We cannot wait for New York, Texas, and California. It means more frequent travels home. It means more available monies to spend in Nigeria. It means it's easier to convince your curious American friends to make the trip. The economic implications are manifold.

    All Nigerians should patronise Air peace wholeheartedly and make sure Air peace expands to flying round the world just the way Virgin Atlantic and British Airways have been round the world.
    These foreign airlines don't help the economy of Nigeria because they take all their funds back to their home country, gives crappy services and are arrogant with it.
    SO ALL NIGERIANS SHOULD SUPPORT AIR PEACE AND MAKE SURE AIR PEACE GROW AND DEVELOP. MORESO MAKE SURE AIRPEACE FLIES AROUND THE GLOBE.

    May be change the title, I initially thought this was a critique of Air Peace, but I summed up the courage to watch this video and I wasn't disappointed. Thanks very much for your views. I used BA for my last trip to Nigeria, to redeem my free air mile, otherwise I would have travelled with Air Peace. Only Nigerians can help Nigerians. I believe another Nigerian Airline should also start flying the route for equity, as it is still skewed in favour of the British Airlines, by a ratio of 2:1

    The emergence of Airpeace as a player on the Nig-London route is actually a good one. According to what we have head, it has caused the prices charged by airlines like BA & virgin to drop . In as much as we are happy about this, lets not forget that airpeace isn't a national airline, its still a private airline and theres so little it can afford us compared to what a national airline would. On the long run, airpeace will still raise their prices.$ With these being said, the only way airpeace can garner & maintain a high customer base is if they provide quality services on all their touch-points as well as amazing experiences on their flights. Not everyone would buy the airpeace idea just because its from Nigeria, some people just want all round quality service regardless of the price and thats for those who can afford it. At some point, they took their prices way lower than what airpeace was offering. in this kind of situation, many would go for the cheapest but if airpeace can provide excellent service on all touch points and onboard their planes,they can still get Nigerians to choose them.

    • @SassyFunke
      @SassyFunke  Місяць тому +1

      I completely agree with you that they need to keep providing a compelling product with great service to make them an airline of choice. Simply being “Nigerian” is not enough to sustain long term customer loyalty. But it’s important to give them the grace and time to get it right.

    Unfortunately we determined the prices that they charge us , by our corruption and miscellaneous charges , they have to ensure the safety of their flight attendants , so they put them up at the Marriott hotel in ikeja , for 2 to three days , they reserve money aside for payments to get certain things in order to move in naij things they don't do in order African countries . If they have any issue in naija and have to resolve that issue , they put money towards it because we all know . It is the duty of all
    Nigerians to support all indigenous African businesses and it is their patriotic duty to support all Nigerian businesses including air peace. We wanted our own airline for decades to go home directly, have air hostesses that look like the women of our race and give us that opportunity to feel at home even in the sky before touching base in Africa.
    Any Nigerian who refuses to support them is a very bad human being, unpatriotic, tribalistic and a divisive person, if I seriously dislike a Nigerian for whatever reason, I will promote their business abroad because it’s my duty and whatever I feel about them is person. That I might relish an opportunity to iron it out with them as it may be based on miss information, negative propaganda and stuffs. It’s a matter of perspectives.

People will make their own plans based on availability of flights around . The more local airlines the better . It’s bad that this happened in the first place due to a lack of a national carrier and I am not going into history . It’s a business and every airline for its self

      @@emmanueladeyosoye3607 Your views are 100% valid. Most people don’t see it the way you do, or have the maturity to process that due to all sorts of emotions. Patriotism should be the best emotion in our public life at this state in our nation’s existence. Instead they work against Nigeria like enemies of our national security, unity and progress and that is not acceptable.
      Still Air Peace should be our first go to air line so long as they do their jobs properly, with professionalism and competency. Of cause we would always patronise other airlines if air peace is sold out. Then it would create an enabling environment for growth of more indigenous airlines spring up to satisfy those tribalistic and jealous fellow Nigerians. People who don’t want to fly Air peace or patronise Nigerian airlines or businesses because of their tribalistic, mentally colonised and brainwashed mindsets do not have to be publicly unpatriotic to the point of campaigning against air peace. That is when then ask patriots to come after them and there are more patriotic Nigerians out there than unpatriotic ones.
      What we will not accept as a people should be called out so our kind can know acceptable behaviours that doesn’t work against our nation because colonialism damaged us all either we acknowledge it or not. Nigeria must be put first before tribes or religion.
