I’m going to go on the assumption that you missed my question and didn’t just ignore it.
I think that saying what true women go through is extremely problematic on so many levels. First and not least, men get breast cancer. The rate of men getting breast cancer has increased over the last couple of years. There’s already a stigma associated with that as it is. Men can carry the breast cancer gene. Why would you underplay and discount that. The US is so screwed up as it is with health care, but to have an unhealthy mental headspace about this is just plain wrong.
Now onto the trans aspect. Trans women have to get breast cancer screening like cis women do. When they commit to the hormones they commit to an increased risk of breast cancer. It devalues the risk they are taking when someone says something like this. Did you know that trans men’s possibility of breast cancer can actually plummet when they start HRT?
I like your channel and I want so bad to just stick my head in the sand and say it was just a brain fart, but I’m not sure it was.
I have so much I want to say, but I want to stay respectful at the same time so I’m going to leave this here.
@@jackiepik160 I was identifying w women since I am one. I know men get breast cancer.
