Solo is worth watching imo, it didn't perform in theaters more cause people were pissed about Last Jedi, but it's way more fun than any of the sequel trilogy, that's for sure..

I love when they use the new movies and shows to add an extra dimension to the original stories... like it always kind of struck me as odd in a New Hope that the Stormtroopers firebombed the Skywalker farm entirely... they didn't do it anywhere else, so why kill some random moisture farmers? Especially so violently? Originally we just chalk it up as another evil act by the Empire.... but the Obi Wan show gives us another answer. Owen and Beru know exactly who Luke is. We saw it when the Sith appeared to take Luke, and my guess is, they did the same in a New Hope when they saw Stormtroopers on the horizon.
I'm German, 62 years old and a fan of Star Wars from 1977. Rogue One takes you back to the time when it all began. No useless gimmickry with CGI and all those technical gadgets, just a straightforward, straightforward plot. No hero, will still somehow survive story, but the sacrifice of everyone for an absolutely understandable reason. The film is exceptional, exceptionally good.
Yup! I was there day one and the one scene I vividly remembered was that hallway scene. The theater erupted and immediately went back to being eerily silent. What a massacre!

Thank you soo much for the enthusiasm and support, we really hope you like it! This movie was absolutely incredible, so well made and clearly had a lot of love of the saga poured into it! It's easily one of the best Star Wars films for sure!
That Vader hallway scene was iconic in two ways. One being, that up until this moment. The sheer ferocity of Darth Vader was only whispered about. How ferocious he was in battle. But those fifteen minutes did everything we wanted. He took the Rebels apart. And the look of terror in their eyes said it all. This is Darth Vader. Dark Lord of the Sith.
Man that last sequence with Darth Vader really showed us why he is one of the best villains in film history. He was absolutely ruthless in this. It made us understand even further in such a simple way why he was so feared.
finally somebody depicted vader as it shoudl be. a ruthless filled with anger individual and the terror that it imposes at sight.fuck all the fancy pointless lightsaber fights made over the years, the brutality in one single swing using lightsaber like is a mace is worth more than 500 air spins.
Little story about Peter Cushing who "plays" Grandmoff Tarkin here. That guy once got thrown out of a cinema with his best friend Christopher Lee (yes..him) because they laughed their ass off so hard at a movie that they filled the whole room with laughter...THIS is how much of a contrast that guy was to his character in the movie
He also liked to hang out in his little countryside cottage, puttering about in the garden. When fans showed up he'd invite them in for tea and biscuits and was generally a very generous and humble host. There's a reason he's so beloved.
When I first saw him in NH, I thought the actor was Vincent Price. From my memory of the Pit and the Pendulum horror movie, VP embodies menace just as much as Cushing did.
Two fun facts: Red Five is the X-Wing pilot who crashes into the shield(his place is eventually taken by Luke in "New Hope"). Vader is holding the door shut with the Force when he comes for the rebels. The hallway sequence was one of the greatest moments of all time. Every other time, we've seen Vader fight against people who(overall)could at least hold their own, Jedi and Force adherents. This is the first time we see him through the eyes of the rank and file of the Rebellion and he is terrifying.
In the rebel attack to Scarif, the red five pilot unfortunately died. And the rebellion chose later a new red five pilot... Luke Skywalker as we saw in episode IV and the rest.
And all the sacrifice many of rebels including Rogue One for stealing the Death Star plans to destroy it leads to Luke Skywalker, he did says something about them between Episode 4 and 5 and he said this: "Wish the Rogue One was here, I wonder what Jyn would react"
Duuuuuuuude!!! As a life-long Star Wars fan, this movie is EPIC!! The best Disney attempt at a SW story. Perfectly captured the weight of what this group did in the small hope they would fuel the rebellion into defeating the empire. Tears every time at the end. From Donnie Yen, to K2-SO, who was voiced by Alan Tudyk, if I'm not mistaken, this movie hits all the best points of the SW universe! Thanks guys, love your channel and the time we get to spend with Y'all here!!!❤
This is my favorite SW films because of the different take they show on what a “rebellion” means. You typically think of good guys doing good things. But in reality it’s good meaning ppl having to struggle with neutral/neg decisions in order to meet their ultimate goal. It’s moral sacrifice that movies don’t always show.
This feels like a perfect time to request that you guys check out the Andor show! It didn't catch too much mainstream popularity when it came out, but it takes star wars to a place you never thought possible. The nuance, character development, acting, cinematography, and objectively the BEST writing of any star wars project cannot be missed!!
This film built up the lore and the original trilogy. It didn't try to destroy characters to make the new characters look better. "Many Bothans died to bring us this information..." was actually just cover for what happened. But lots of people died to bring the information. So many died to get the information, that when the attack on the Death Star came from Yavin 4, there wasn't a fleet left at the base. It doesn't subtract from the heroism of the Yavin 4 pilots that they were part of a larger rebellion. It adds to the history of sacrifice in face of overwhelming power that was required to challenge the Galactic Empire.
Many Bothans died WAY after this and episode 4. They had nothing to do with this. That was a line from Return of the Jedi about the SECOND death star. And the Bothans did not deliver any plans. They brought information to the Rebels that a second death star was being built, where it was (Endor), and that the Emperor was going to be there. - all information the Emperor purposely let them have. Nothing in Rogue One has anything to do with Bothans or that line.
I saw this film two weeks after Carrie Fisher passed away. When I saw her at the end of the film, I lost it. She was my childhood crush, after Shirley Temple, and stayed with me the longest. I bawled when she turned around. I know it was a different actress with CGI, but my immediate reaction was painful yet happy tears. She will always be MY princess.
Its crazy looking at this now with all the SW discourse at the moment. People say SW fans dont like female leads or anything other that the Skywalker story, yet this movie exists and its perfection. Rogue 1 is regarded as one of the best movies/stories brought to life within SW.
I honestly think you guys should watch the series, Andor. You will lose your minds over the cinematography, the dialogue and the absolute superb story. Plus, Andy Serkis and Stellan Skarsgård are in it and give absolutely iconic speeches. It's 1,000% up your alley.
“Climb… Climb… You can still send the plans to the fleet. If they open the shield gate you can broadcast from the tower. Locking the vault door now…Good-bye.” - K2 Gets me every time.
You can imagine how hype it was to see Darth Vader again in its full menacing glory. Screams of terror and excitement. I grew up with Star Wars and it will always have a special place in my heart even if Disney doesn't know when to stop.
I remember in cinema, people were sobbing... then Vader started breathing in black hallway and when lightsaber lit, there was gasp from everyone at the cinema.,..
This film is just awesome sequence after awesome sequence with incredibly heartfelt moments. It doesn't give the audience a breather because the rebels are also constantly on the run. Absolutely love the storytelling!
I saw this again, in theater, on the day that Carrie Fisher passed away. The theater had to be cleared after the credits were done. Just sobbing, crying, joyful fans hanging together in rememberence.
I was 14 when Star Wars came out. Saw it immediately, while on a family vacation. As a franchise long fan, I've come to accept that Rogue One is my favorite Star Wars film. I have not been more excited to share a reaction. You two plus this thing... Man, here we go! :)
I was 16, and saw it 3 months after it premiered, and I was not impressed, it was fine. THIS movie I saw in IMAX 3 times, the best Star Wars movie without a doubt.
I've been a Star Wars fan since seeing the first one in theaters as a kid. Rogue One is my favorite. Showing the grit, the sacrifice, the cost of fighting this kind of fight is what makes it so special, along with the fantastic, multi-faceted artistry that went into its making, of course. The raw, seething power and brutality of Vader, the willingness of the rebels to get their hands dirty and do bad things in the name of a greater goal...it was just so well done. Great film for Star Wars day!! May the 4th be with you. Beware the revenge of the 5th.
This makes ANDOR an absolute must watch!!!!! Great way to celebrate the holiday! Thanks guys! If you don't watch ANDOR, I'll rewatch it without you! Lol
Rogue One brings all the movies together. When the Rebel leader said many lives were sacrificed for those plans. This was the movie that was needed. 😢😍
That was Senator Mon Mothma and she was talking about Bothan Spies before the Battle of Endor. This film was conceived from one clause in the Opening Crawl of Episode IV.
@@Ryan_Christopher I don't think it's fair to say that one clause in the opening of Episode IV was the basis for Rogue One. Episode IV revolves almost entirely around these plans that have been stolen. The Empire knows they're missing and are in hot pursuit when the film opens. Even without the opening crawl, the story of how this chase started, and where these plans came from, is the logical preceding chapter of the story.
Fun fact: the person behind the cinematography for this film was Greig Fraser, who also worked in The Mandalorian, The Batman and Dune, for part one he got an Oscar
The big things for me in this movie are that they made the Empire absolutely terrifying and then threw Vader on top. Just the sheer oppressiveness of the Empire and the utter desperation you feel from the Rebellion. And that last battle. Especially the space side . . . I felt like a kid again for a minute.
A story that none of us thought we needed - but ended up being the best of modern Star Wars movies IMO. You two are consistently wonderful too, always enjoy your work - don't ever change!
I didn’t know how I felt about the movie before I saw it. I just didn’t think the story of how they got the plans was important enough for a whole movie. This movie is so much more than that. It’s a WAR movie about how ordinary people caught with everything they had for the hope that someone would keep going and finish the job. It’s THE best Star Wars movie.
This film is a pure love letter to and the closest thing anyone has ever come, including George Lucas, to the original Star Wars films. It's an immediate classic❤
Rogue One has held up very well over the years, and it’s been nice to see more and more people recognize it. I think the same thing will eventually happen with Andor, especially if season 2 can stick the landing.
Fantastic reaction! Saw this in theaters w/ daughter days after Carrie Fisher passed away, unspoiled & unprepared for that final scene. Burst out in tears. For GenX’rs, Carrie was huge part of our childhood. 💔
The things that gets me the most about this movie is that Carrie Fisher died a just little time after it was released. I've seen it on theater and I loved the endind, I remember people on the theater actually crying ater that scene, and when Carrie's death was announced, the first thing that came to my mind was the last scene of the movie. Princess Leia talking about hope.
Love Alan Tudyk as K2S0. Anthony Daniels was so uncomfortable in the C-3PO costume & jokingly cursed Alan. After Rogue One's premiere. Tudyk later said that a "Fuck you" from Daniels was one of the highest compliments he had ever received.
I'm an old school Star Wars fan, and I... LOVED this movie! I fell in love with every single character! It was like a piece of my heart died every time we lost one of them! Seeing Darth Vader at the very end made me feel like a kid again! See the CGI Princess Leia warmed my heart since I saw this movie in theaters shortly after Carrie Fisher passed away. I was crying so hard from every emotion I was feeling once the lights came on & the credits were rolling, my husband had to walk me to the car because I could barely see from all the tears. I was also shouting while crying out loud in the parking lot, "They never even kissed!!!", over Stardust and her boo. Now that's a movie! They didn't have to make it, but they did, and we are all better for it! ❤
Saw Gerrera figures prominently in both the Clone Wars and in the Rebels series, as a rebellion leader against the CIS on Onderon, and later aiding the nascent Rebel Alliance against the Empire. Peter Cushing as Grand Moff Tarkin always personified that cold, yet politely sinister aspect of Imperial officers. Calculating and ruthless.
Not enough people talk about how revolutionary it was to have such a CG heavy battle sequence shot in broad daylight (Scarif mainly, as well as the scenes done on Jedha), it's SUCH a technically impressive shot and easily the best work ILM has done since the Mustafar fight, and it hasn't been topped since. I love this movie, really glad yall scoped it out!
If you haven´t already I would watch Andor. It´s one of the best TV shows I ever saw. Diego Luna again as Cassian Andor and Stellan Skarsgard, Andy Serkis, Fiona Shaw- the whole cast is brilliant and the story and dialoge too. It really shows the sacrifice people have to make for this rebellion, the moral questions that arise not just for people on the ground like Cassian but for politicians like Mon Mothma too.
I put this film second in my ranking, right behind Ep V. Definitely highly strongly recommend watching the Star Wars TV show Andor. It is the best written Star Wars in my opinion. And as writers yourselves, I think you’ll enjoy it so much!
Ooofff that Vader scene was AMAZING!! The terror felt so real, making Vader appear as an even bigger threat! Fantastic film! Thanks so much for your support!
I love that they brought back small characters like “Gold Leader”, “Red Leader” and of course “RED FIVE” was standing by, knowing who will take over that call sign later! One thing that sticks in my mind is Mon Mothma. There must be another battle somewhere in the mix because in RotJ, she says, “Many Bothans died to bring us this information.” It makes me wonder if they were going to do another film to cover that line from her. I was astounded how they brought David Niven back to life! How did this affect his Estate?! In Dallas, we have a store called Order 66 that is the world’s largest Star Wars collectibles store. They did a sneak preview of this film. I’m glad I got to go. They had gift bags, trivia contests (I won!) and actors from the Star Wars universe. Y’all would have loved it, too!
Now that kids , is how Star Wars is and should be done. 53 years old, and this is the movie that projected me back to 1977...7 year old in the Theatre. Honorable Mention The Mandalorian.....gonna go blow my nose , tell the Mrs my eyes are watering because of allergies.😂 ❤ Reaction Media Knights.
definitely one of my favorite star wars films. and 100% correct, a story that needed to be told. the first time watching there was definitely that feeling of dread for each character, but none as surprising than for the droid. even that got me in my feels. Such an incredible movie start to finish
Rebel fleet warps in goose bumps up my back. I'm old enough to have seen starwars in 1977 and had toys and to me this is second best movie after Empire maybe even better than Empire ❤❤❤❤
That's sooo amazing to hear, we truly feel this is such a fantastic addition to the beautiful world of Star Wars, it truly carries all of the qualities of the best of SW!
I waited over 30 years to see another Star Wars film like this. Rogue One is the best Star Wars movie Disney has made, and I rank it equal to the OT. Confession - I shed a few tears in the cinema. Btw I highly recommend the Disney+ series "Andor".
If you enjoyed this, you need to check out the series Andor (if you haven't already). It's a phenomenal show that sadly got overlooked by many when it first came out. And season 2 is on the way. Also I'd love to see you guys react to Fallout. I've watched it twice, and I'm still often thinking about it.
32:30 This is why I love the show Andor. It shows the empire working as both the bloated impersonal corrupt bureaucracy it is but also as a frighteningly powerful machine.
@@OfficialMediaKnights Heavily seconded, Andor is the best written and directed of all the disney Star Wars shows imo. You'll get plenty more believably competent characters on all sides there, along with some incredible in-depth expansion of the worldbuilding.
at both Jedha and Scariff, Tarkin said "single reactor ignition", basically let me explain, it operates in a series of sequential ignitions (not unlike a pulsejet) that give a convenient metric for how powerful a given shot is, simply by counting the number of ignitions used to charge the superlaser power cells. It's not a "single reactor" ignition, it's a single "reactor ignition". this is why it looked like a nuke instead of just completely destroying a planet.
Cassian: "What's your sarcasm setting, K-2SO?" K-2SO: "That's 100 percent." Cassian: "Let's bring it on down to 75, please." K-2SO: "Nope. No can do. You're stuck with 100." 😉😉
This is one of my all-time favorite movies. Definitely my favorite Star Wars movie. I'll always remember the moment I realized, "Wait. None of these characters show up later. They're all about to die aren't they???"
Canonically A New Hope begins 10 minutes after this end. It's absolutely brilliant. The emotion this film brought out of me is unbelievable. It was when Bohdi died that i suddenly realised there would be no survivors and i broke down in the cinema
A whole movie spawned just to explain why the death exploded so easily, and yet one of the best Star Wars production. Chirrut’s and Baze’s death had no right guving us so many feels for character we didn’t know, and yet….
I was very young and went to the theater to see this new "cool" movie that had come out in 1977. It was mesmerizing. So I was all in on the next 2 years later. When the prequels came out, I just couldn't do it any more. Lost interest. Somehow I sat down and watched Rogue One about a year after it came out. Blew me away. The characters were rich, the action was great, the humor was perfect...loved it! They tied the entire thing together wonderfully.
Spencer Wilding chased me all over the comic con when this came out with my shocking lightsabers. he was sooooo freakin chill. he was like will this hurt you? I said heck yeah he smirked and came at me full speed. what a legend. what a awesome movie!!
There was so many emotions in this movie. The first time the heroes won but you felt the massive loss at the same time. That hallway sene with Vader too… Iconic!! This film came out 11 days before Carrie Fisher passed away, I saw the movie just after she died and seeing Leia in cgi after her passing with the emotions of the film…. Not many dry eyes left In that cinema after.
The first time I saw Peter Cushing back on the screen as Grand Moff Tarkin, for a second I genuinely believed Disney'd managed to actually resurrect the man. The animation was legitimately convincing.
This might be the best Star Wars movie ever made and it's absolutely because of them showing the scale of the sacrifice made to get those plans to the rebels.
One of my favorite Vader moments was from a comic: Rebel soldiers: Surrender! We have you surrounded and outnumbered! Vader: All I am surrounded by is fear and dead men...
Reason why they couldn't open the door when Vadar was attacking was that Vadar had stopped the door from opening with the force before he entered the ship. They had no chance..
The guy is just multitasking with such ease. Absolutely love how they've shown us just how powerful he is. That poor rebel that got slammed against the roof had it rough though 😓
I don't consider myself a Star Wars fan, but Rogue One is in my top 10 movies of all time. I just love how it gives so much weight and meaning to "A New Hope". SUUUUUUPER satisfied with Andor too. I just love my war films/series to be so gritty and serious. And then it bamboozles me just how Disney can make Rogue One and Andor, but at the same time spew out garbage after garbage in other movies/series in the Star Wars franchise.
Happy Star Wars Day, Media Knights, and May the Force Be With You! Rogue One is top-tier Star Wars and is personally in my top 3. What I mostly love about this film is Greig Fraser's cinematography and the visuals! There are so many inspiring shots throughout the film.
Rogue One was based off of one line in A New Hope, "13 brave men died getting those plans". We who remembered, knew none of Rogue One would survive--only prevail

He was also an OG tabletop war gamer
Really???
That’s a great tale!
@@snorpenbass4196 Cushing by all accounts was the complete opposite of the characters he played, especially for Hammer Horror. Awesome guy.
Two fun facts:
Red Five is the X-Wing pilot who crashes into the shield(his place is eventually taken by Luke in "New Hope").
The hallway scene showed Vaders incompetence
In the rebel attack to Scarif, the red five pilot unfortunately died. And the rebellion chose later a new red five pilot... Luke Skywalker as we saw in episode IV and the rest.
And all the sacrifice many of rebels including Rogue One for stealing the Death Star plans to destroy it leads to Luke Skywalker, he did says something about them between Episode 4 and 5 and he said this: "Wish the Rogue One was here, I wonder what Jyn would react"
@@VergilTheMotivatedKatanaMan which movie did luke say that 4 or 5??? and at what time stamp???
"Even when they lose a random pilot, you feel that loss..." immediately cuts to Bodhi
YES! YES! YES!
I saw this movie in theaters the weekend after Carrie Fisher died. Seeing leia at the end was a real gut punch.
I saw it day she died still gut punch even now.
Same. It just wrecked me.
Masterpiece ever. The best film of Star Wars until now 2024. Great
I honestly think you guys should watch the series, Andor.
Locking the vault door now…Good-bye.” - K2
Gets me every time.
Yeah i cried, was shook and cried again in the theater
To date Rogue One and Andor are undeniably the most mature and best written entries of the filmic canonic SW franchise.
33:43 man that POV shot from the X-Wing exiting hyperspace in the theatre is one of the things i'll never forget
I saw this again, in theater, on the day that Carrie Fisher passed away. The theater had to be cleared after the credits were done. Just sobbing, crying, joyful fans hanging together in rememberence.
I saw it the very day after. It was so surreal. Seeing the CG Leia in the film felt like both a tribute and a memorial. It was kind of heartbreaking.
Same!! I was in the theatre a couple minutes before the preview trailers started and saw it on our phones. That end scene made it unforgettable!!!
That sounds beautiful. Very very nice...
I was 14 when Star Wars came out. Saw it immediately, while on a family vacation. As a franchise long fan, I've come to accept that Rogue One is my favorite Star Wars film. I have not been more excited to share a reaction. You two plus this thing... Man, here we go! :)
Rogue One might be my second or third favorite. I consider it to be an absolutely outstanding Star Wars film as well as a very good film on its own.
I was 16, and saw it 3 months after it premiered, and I was not impressed, it was fine. THIS movie I saw in IMAX 3 times, the best Star Wars movie without a doubt.
This and Andor are the best Star Wars content to come out of Disney
Lol
My favorite series
Seconded. Absolute must above any other Star Wars series, or any other show on Disney+. Easily among the best television of the 2020s.
Completely agree!
Great series.
Starts out good and then gets better and better and better… 😁
Andor is, in my humble opinion, the best piece of Star Wars media since 1983. Possibly even since 1980
Hell yeahhhhhh
Rogue One brings all the movies together. When the Rebel leader said many lives were sacrificed for those plans. This was the movie that was needed. 😢😍
No, it wasn't. She was referencing a completely different operation leading to the events in Return of the Jedi.
@@Halbam just wanted to point that out...
That was Senator Mon Mothma and she was talking about Bothan Spies before the Battle of Endor.
This film was conceived from one clause in the Opening Crawl of Episode IV.
Thank you😉
@@Ryan_Christopher I don't think it's fair to say that one clause in the opening of Episode IV was the basis for Rogue One. Episode IV revolves almost entirely around these plans that have been stolen. The Empire knows they're missing and are in hot pursuit when the film opens. Even without the opening crawl, the story of how this chase started, and where these plans came from, is the logical preceding chapter of the story.
When the first star wars film came out in 1977 that's the birth year of my dad
Fun fact: the person behind the cinematography for this film was Greig Fraser, who also worked in The Mandalorian, The Batman and Dune, for part one he got an Oscar
The big things for me in this movie are that they made the Empire absolutely terrifying and then threw Vader on top. Just the sheer oppressiveness of the Empire and the utter desperation you feel from the Rebellion.
And that last battle. Especially the space side . . . I felt like a kid again for a minute.
It’s a love letter to the original.
A brilliant addition to the saga.
Great movie, Gareth Edward’s and team did a wonderful job.
Yet still bad.
This film is a pure love letter to and the closest thing anyone has ever come, including George Lucas, to the original Star Wars films. It's an immediate classic❤
It truly felt like the perfect combination of the classics and something new and fresh. Absolutely loved it!
My fav star wars movie since original trilogy
here too...
That Moment Vader reveals himself is absolutely fuckin insane .. goosebumps at the ready 😅
He shows himself to be incompetent.
For me, this is one of the best SW films ever. The whole film is incredible, and the last 15 minutes a brutal rollercoaster (Vader OMG).
43:58 Next stop, Tatooine!
The original trilogy will always have a special place in my heart. But this is the best Star Wars movie.
The best star wars movie ever made IMHO, feel free to disagree 😎 The final scene with Vader is damn epic.
Yeeeeah…..
My problem with those movies is they’re too obvious… like a commercials. No Cinema magic.
@@JNKArts88unfortunately that’s most movies now, there’s no magic left I fear.
Donnie Yen’s test reel for playing Caine.
I love this film. One of the best Star Wars films.
I put this film second in my ranking, right behind Ep V. Definitely highly strongly recommend watching the Star Wars TV show Andor. It is the best written Star Wars in my opinion. And as writers yourselves, I think you’ll enjoy it so much!
How Visceral was the film and specially that Vader scene near the end.. I love how it connects A New Hope directly next to its timeline.
Ooofff that Vader scene was AMAZING!! The terror felt so real, making Vader appear as an even bigger threat! Fantastic film! Thanks so much for your support!
I also made my sister and brother in law watch this for the first time on May the 4th this year, so it was awesome to see y'alI react to IT. I love it
Big Star Wars fan this film is the best directed acted shot Star Wars movie ever made
I love that they brought back small characters like “Gold Leader”, “Red Leader” and of course “RED FIVE” was standing by, knowing who will take over that call sign later!
No part of this story needed to be told.
Denise's face for the last 15 minutes of this is pure magic. Great reaction guys! This is the only Disney Star Wars film I actually love.
This is my favorite Star Wars movie since growing up with the original trilogy on dvd and blu-ray.
Yall should watch Andor now. Andor makes Rogue One even greater, and Rogue One makes Andor even greater. Perfect companion pieces
That hallway scene....chef's kiss! one of my favorite recent star wars movies
32:30 This is why I love the show Andor. It shows the empire working as both the bloated impersonal corrupt bureaucracy it is but also as a frighteningly powerful machine.
You have to watch Andor. IMO its great also
We definitely gotta check that one out asap!!
@@OfficialMediaKnights Heavily seconded, Andor is the best written and directed of all the disney Star Wars shows imo. You'll get plenty more believably competent characters on all sides there, along with some incredible in-depth expansion of the worldbuilding.
@@OfficialMediaKnights Yes you do - it's brilliant
Every aspect of its production is a masterpiece - writing, acting, VFX, music, editing, the lot ...
at both Jedha and Scariff, Tarkin said "single reactor ignition", basically let me explain, it operates in a series of sequential ignitions (not unlike a pulsejet) that give a convenient metric for how powerful a given shot is, simply by counting the number of ignitions used to charge the superlaser power cells. It's not a "single reactor" ignition, it's a single "reactor ignition". this is why it looked like a nuke instead of just completely destroying a planet.
Cassian: "What's your sarcasm setting, K-2SO?"
K-2SO: "That's 100 percent."
Cassian: "Let's bring it on down to 75, please."
K-2SO: "Nope. No can do. You're stuck with 100."
😉😉
Alan Tudyk at his best!
Nice Interstellar reference.
"One."
"You mean one percent?"
"No. One means 'On'. I'm a droid-- everything is binary."
Seeing this in the theater days after Carrie Fisher died is a film experience I'll carry forever. One of my favorite films.
Rogue Two was the guy who found Luke and Han on Hoth the next morning when they had to spend the night outside the base.
Andor is a MASTERPIECE and IMO, it doesn't get enough praise. I love this movie, but Andor is sooooo good.
It gets to much praise
This is one of my all-time favorite movies. Definitely my favorite Star Wars movie. I'll always remember the moment I realized, "Wait. None of these characters show up later. They're all about to die aren't they???"
One of my favorite StarWars movies! So glad you took the time to watch this and react. It's a perfect film!
*Star Wars
All about sacrifice. It's the price we pay to overcome evil. A price most aren't willing to pay.
Best Star Wars ever.💪
@@idiot_city5444people aren’t allowed opinions? And yes, it’s the best one.
The way they showcased the weight of every loss on the team. 👌 What a phenomenal film! And then you get that ending on top of it.
Canonically A New Hope begins 10 minutes after this end. It's absolutely brilliant. The emotion this film brought out of me is unbelievable. It was when Bohdi died that i suddenly realised there would be no survivors and i broke down in the cinema
this film and the entirety of Andor are just something else. so so so so good. got me giggling and kicking my feet seeing this notification pop up
Alan Tudyk was fantastic voicing K-250. He is great in everything he does
A whole movie spawned just to explain why the death exploded so easily, and yet one of the best Star Wars production.
🤔...🤣
This might be the best Star Wars movie ever made and it's absolutely because of them showing the scale of the sacrifice made to get those plans to the rebels.
One of my favorite Vader moments was from a comic:
Rebel soldiers: Surrender! We have you surrounded and outnumbered!
Vader: All I am surrounded by is fear and dead men...
Still my favorite Star Wars film to this day. It was an emotional rollercoaster but absolutely worth the journey.
Sigh... no.
YESSS, Greig Fraser is absolutely incredible and the more of his work we see, the more we fall in love with it! May the Force be with you!
@OfficialMediaKnights, thank you! also, I just subscribed to your Patreon and became a Producing Knight for you guys!
Rogue One was based off of one line in A New Hope, "13 brave men died getting those plans". We who remembered, knew none of Rogue One would survive--only prevail
At no point did anyone say "13 brave men died getting these plans."
