I feel some of your pain fruit. I just came back to destiny after a break and decided to grind for recluse, revoker, and the mountaintop. By the end my rage wasn’t even words anymore. It was just really loud incoherent noises 😂
I got it too, my man... I've actually been enjoying it. It's a lot more consistent than other hand cannons for me
Whenever Mr. Fruit mentions multitasking I get Forager PTSD
They still have the 180 recoil pattern. I don't have NF, but Luna's Howl makes my rotation whenever I want to play with a hand cannon. It feel really good, and has much better shot recovery than your precious Spare Rations. It's still a great weapon.
LH and NF are the only 150 hand cannons that can kill with 2 crits then 1 body (they're the most forgiving); Mag Howl does something in the since that lots of players (even the best players) often don't consistently 3 tap with 150s. Furthermore, max stability (Zen Moment) gives them the most aim assist, and the huge range stat gives it the most accuracy. They also have amazing in-air-accuracy. What else could you possibly ask for from these weapons? I have noticed that PC players miss more shots than usual with precision frame hand cannons, so I know it's definitely a feel thing, but, in that case, you could say they are the weapons with the highest skill ceiling.

I'm an OG Titan main, have been since D1 but.... I won't lie I started playing Hunter recently and I've never felt amazing until I one-shot bosses with the crit gunslinger tree and Celestial Nighthawk, it's amazing
@Mr.Fruit you lvl up other characters pretty quickly by using the armor sets in your season rank rewards. Just be sure to give that character your highest lvl guns and start with the earliest awarded armor pieces. It will increase your pwr lvl each time u pick up a piece of armor. Also, while on your Titan, pick up an exotic piece from Xur for other class so u can have that 1 higher armor piece to start out with. Definitely do Warlock! Having so much fun with the “Twilight Garrison” they stole from us Titan mains!!
Not forgotten was one of the most difficult but satisfying guns to get. Now it's trash and a blue auto rifle is better smh.
It’s still amazing on consoles because you only need to get 2 headshot and one body to get a kill, which on consoles is amazing because you can’t aim as well as pc.

I am a hunter main and I recently switched to top tree dawnblade warlock and I can honestly say that it's a lot of fun. Give it a go in sure you will enjoy it.
I was 2 years late getting back to D2. I got the komodo today mr fruit. Its really good! (My opinion of course) it's worth the grind!
The melee of a titan and hunter are the same speed with warlocks being slower with a longer range
D'andre Rogers hunter Mele has the smallest range. Warlocks have the most, but titans have some broken range with the top tree striker class. And with shoulder charge.

You should take heart because it is truly a testament to your skill and plucky attitude that you don’t know fundamental things like Hunter’s now have the fastest melée but you can still frag-out and earn pinnacle weapons. Hot skill trumps cold clinical knowledge. Well done. Ya dunce.
honestly i love both luna's and NF i mean whats not to like about completely vertical recoil and built in icarus grip on the HC frame freeing up the mod slot for back up mag
Believe it or not, but oxygen with a dragonfly spec worked really well for Randy's. The dragonfly does half someone's health.
I'd love to see fruit as a warlock. It's always fun to see people get used to something they've rarely done

NF is the only 150 besides thorn that can 2 headshot 1 body. It also has little to no recoil and insane range. It's also the only precision frame 150 so has 100% in air accuracy.

As for the other 2 classes not being up to light level, just transfer weapons over that you like to use, and turn in vanguard/crucible tokens. you will get up to 1000 pretty quickly... warlock main n just used spare weapons and turned in tokens, now they r just 2 or 3 light behind main. Since you worked on not forgotten you should have plenty of tokens.
Do it. Switch to Hunter or Warlock, both are really fun. Looking at the video, i feel you enjoy flying around and want to get mid-air shots. I think you'll enjoy top tree solar warlock a lot. I switch main every week to ensure i can play any class, but generally prefer hunter for PVE
Makes me wonder if part of the reason some of the pvp devs at bungie left was because the direction was changing about pinnacle weapons in that pinnacle seasons are basically nothing special anymore because bungie is afraid to have guns that are super strong if not everyone can get them.
I'd be interested in seeing some Warlock or Hunter gameplay. Mr. Fruit is pretty much my only Destiny source, so I haven't gotten to really see those yet.
The damage buff from nf gives it more range than most other hand cannons. Also it's still pretty nuts on console.

An answer to your question: (I believe) that hunters and titans have the same melee speed. Warlocks have a slower one and received a buff in range this season.

I love this hand cannon. I was fine with the initial changes they made when it went from a 180 to a 150. However when they nerfed hc range it kinda killed the metta a bit. I mean not forgotten is now like a 4 shot kill on 4+ resilience when most 150s can 3 tap. Its just sad now. I still use it because its still my favorite hand cannon. Stable as hell and yeah i use controller. Its just hard to find a hand cannon to replace it for me. Ive tried different waking vigils and dire promise rolls the only one i really like is spare rations and its not as consistent as nf
I'm doing this grind right now and I must admit that I'm a little sad that I'm discending into madness for weapons that are not what they were..
Try top tree Dawn for sure Mr. Froooot, it’s so much fun 😁, I would suggest against using heat rises a lot against top teams though, it’s very easy to get punished while floating since you can’t drop faster than default floofing
I believe that all weapons are good depending on if you use it right or if it is used for the right mode

Tip: The Crucible Redjack shader is straight fire for NF. That is all.

Here’s the thing, lunas howl and not forgotten have actually started to kinda shine through the meta just a bit. Yeah they are just 150’s, except they are 150’s that can two head one body so they add quite a bit of forgivability, not forgotten also has some pretty good range as far as legendary hand cannons go, and fun fact, while they are 150’s they actually kept their precision frames, so they are extremely consistent, even on pc where it’s less important, while it takes getting used to, the precision frame animation and stability gives a decent edge, and they actually also have inherit icarus, so you can have in air accuracy and like a targeting adjuster mod, and on top of that, remember that they are energy hand cannons, which we are severely lacking in good options, other then like waking vigil curated kindled orchcid, and maybe a couple other options to be fair. That allows for use of revoker and hand cannon. So yeah, while the guns aren’t godly, they are actually pretty good, and imo at least worth the grind if you take into account the clout factor. That ended up being a lot longer then I expected it to be. 😂. Sorry about the paragraph

Why yes, you did inspire me to get NF. it's not like I'm loosing my mind in comp already because sometimes I do good sometimes I'm utter trash in the grind for every other pinnacle weapon I skipped. So since I'm doing a 5 way grind why not add another one.

Idk Mr. Fruit, Drewsky makes a pretty good case for NF being the best 150 in the game...it's the only precision frame 150...meaning it's the most stable in the game... as far as base stats n stuff, nothing beats it...now, you could make an argument that none of that matters because it's a static role, and a spare rations or waking vigil can get random rolls, and you can do more with different perks... but, you know, I don't care that much to keep typing...lulz have a good day :)

Bungie should revert the changes to magnificent howl and master of arms in pvp so that those guns can be as good as autos. Just bring back all the meta ttks and put them in 1 sandbox. A sandbox where everything has like a 0.5-0.8 ttk.
You can get 2 headshots then bodyshot them for the full 68 damage too (a good thing if you miss the 3rd headshot a lot)
