You can always just afk at a light level below 750 in the forges to get umbral engrams. It's not very fast but if you are away from the console/pc for a while it's good. Use a macro or the old ruberband controller technique to not get kicked for inactivity.

This combo typically allows you to two-tap in any combo of head-shot/body shot with a hand cannon. Preferred perk combo on the cleanup would be quickdraw/opening shot. Quickdraw can be subbed out if you have quick access sling.
Seeing you with the bow gives me a lot of confidence. I've begun using this with quickdraw and unrelenting. I like quickdraw as it fits my playstyle(I switch between shotgun and bow a lot, as I stay moving). Being healed after a kill is really nice and being able to swap weapons super quick makes me hard. But it feels so amazing. So accurate. I land so many more shots now, even when hip firing. And the reticle is perfect. Lightweight frame is also crucial for me. Good movement, fast notch speed.

I love destiny bows especially presentation frames and with a hip fire grip because of the fact your arrow bend around corners and takes down the guardian when they think they got away I have gotten so many long kill streaks using a bow only because of my hip fire bow and getting right in their faces
Man, a day where I see more than 2 people (including me) use a bow in Crucible will be glorious. The Slab might have to take the fav bow slot replacing The Vow for me because something about it just feels better. Maybe it's the perks?

Hey fruit, you should try trinity ghoul with the catalyst and run bottom tree striker with frontal assault and you can basically shoot D1 storm callers at people. I think you’d enjoy it
The auto rifle can also get unrelenting. I have a feeding frenzy unrelenting roll, making it act like a mini suros in pvp (although with the slower rate of fire, it’s not my ideal archetype) and is definitely worth checking out
Bows are great, but you need to have a precision frame and archers tempo. I have a total of like 8k kills with bows, and I've noticed the only arche type that's worth it (excluding le monarch of course) is precision. Having it be a 2 shot body no matter what is essential, and having archers tempo makes sure you have time to quickly repeak to secure the kill in time
Give me a bow, I go to a sniper nest. Give me a hand cannon or sidearm, I check my rifle’s magazine. Give me a sword, I go up against enemies that will only ever melee you. Give me an auto rifle, I destroy everything that threatens us.

You can get a perk on the bow to reload stowed weapons on knocking the bow which is great for a quick swap crucible bow build
