Love how creators handled Jiara’s storyline. They didn’t push it just to make fans happy, but developed until it would be comfortable for the characters. Considering the situation that they’re in (with all the treasure hunt and all) and the fact that they’re all friends and every boy having “a thing” for her. Can’t wait for your reaction of the 5th episode, it’s wild😂
No bc Kiaras “I’ll help” the way she said it seemed so precious
Jiara was stressing me out in this episode had me crying but then Cleope came in and gave me soft fluffy feelings like a comfy blanket
That Jiara moment in this episode really got me. Mostly Kiara's "I do care", "I will help". She was so desperate. And JJ self-sabotages and can't believe anyone really loves him and wants to be there for him. And he's afraid of screwing things up. And Kie is so patient with him. I don't think pushing her away has anything to do with Pope, just fear of screwing up and losing her forever. And still u kive reaction. you are not just watching, youre in it
Imma say what someone wise said. “JJ doesn’t know how to love because he’s never experienced being loved. He doesn’t understand his feelings or how to process them. “

So it seems like 2 things that flipped JJ when it comes to Kie…
1. Pope… although he said “do what you want, I won’t stop you”, obviously JJ doesn’t want to hurt his buddy… even though it was obvious last season that it hurt him to see Pope with Kie 😢
2. He really doesn’t think he’s good enough for her 😢… when stuck on the island they were on even ground, which is where their bond and potential romantic feelings started growing… now back in the OBX, he’s reminded that she lives on figure 8, and he is served with an eviction notice, can’t even afford to live on the Cut
Also (so maybe 3 reasons lol)… he’s been abandoned his whole life 😢 kinda hard to trust love
my one wish for this season on Jiara, was that they could have showed Kiara start to develop feelings and show JJ realizing his feelings, but we only get so many episodes and big john took up too much screen time 💀

I loved how patient and understanding Kie is of JJs situation. She knows what he’s been through and that he’s scared and she just wants him to know she’ll always be there for him. I love them so much❤️
The whole Kie calling JJ “Jayj” thing did happen a couple times in season 2. Idk if it was scripted or just something Madison Bailey came up with, but it did happen before season 3.
I feel that is improvised 😭❤ Sarah even started using it because Kiara said it so much lmao
@@HazelAmarie I think it was an improvised thing at first & the writers leaned into it this season. I hope keep it as a thing next season too. Pope even used it once.
JJ's face right after Kie says "I do care" is heartbreaking 😭
I loved kiara and jj actually acknowledging something happened instead of denying it ! It is wonderful to see kiara being so vulnerable and going after what she wants and being understanding of jj. I feel so bad jj always liked kiara but never felt worthy of her . The way he is spiraling and his wall broke down when she said I care . You can even see when he called her a kook it hurt him to hurt her . I love that when they talked again you can see they want more . The chemistry and tension is 🥺🥰❤️🔥😍. We are all Adam watching jiara scenes !

She said jagj like for times last season but it’s more this prominent this season and the fact that Jiara had a kiss this episode but they cut it hurts me and when he’s said we shouldn’t be doing this and she said if you say so like she really wanted him
I wish we got to see more of them grow closer on the island

Big John took to much screen time in my opinion, but seeing them all go back to the outer banks and had someone except for jj made me cry bc he deserves the absolute world and he just had no one in that moment bc everyone was with their families it made me so sad and then when jj was about to cry but stopped his self hurt me bc he does genuinely and actually love kie we known that since the first episode of season 1 but he doesn’t want to hurt pope bc he knows what that feels like and plus he doesn’t think he’s good enough for her and feels like he doesn’t deserve love bc of his dad and his mom leaving but that completely wrong he does and I’m glad Kie didn’t let him push her away she came back and she kept coming back bc she loves him and wants to wake him up and make him realize it and that he deserves to be loved and love someone, I’m also glad we got to see Kie be vulnerable and actually initiate and love someone bc which John b and pope they both initiated it first. You could also tell that he didn’t actually mean it when he called her look bc his face change like he instantly regretted it and you could tell he knew he hurt her which made him regret it more.
I'm really interested to see what you think of Big John by the end of the season because he's definitely garnered some intense feelings about him. Good or bad I won't say, but I'm curious to see what you think.
