The modded one sounds sick for a 1w amp! Probably the best 1w i have heard yet (for metal).
Did you sell the other RD1, dude? Watched this the first time a few weeks ago and went straight to AMM website. They also have a FIVE gain stage Marshall mod. So getting one.
that mod sounds amazing would be crazy on the rd45
IT does sound better but could you almost get there by just brightening the stock? The modded one sounds brighter but the other stuff doesn't come through very well. It almost seems like the stock with a pedal pushing it sounds as good as the un-pushed modded head.
Great demo Kyle! You know I love all those Diavlo’s from 1-100 watts they are face melters all day. Especially with the right mods or hit hard with a killer overdrive or boost of choice. Nice playing too. That riff from the chorus on Harvest is my favorite off the whole album.

I always love the way you describe the amps' compression characteristics and how saturated the gain is because a lot of gear reviewers dont do that and I think thats what makes you and your channel unique.

That lil bastard kicks ass!!! You know, AMM Amplified has a modded Boss SD-1 pedal called the Kill Mod! I wouldn’t mind hearing your review of that! Btw, great review, very honest!!
The modded one sounds killer for a 1 watt. I feel like a couple of pedals would whip that stock one into shape nicely. I have an RD5 I bought on impulse, it's OK with a boost in front and an EQ in the loop but it just lacks the bass and presence that my full size heads produce so it doesn't get much play time.

Damn! I want one! Do they mod the rd 45? I like mine but there’s something about it that seems lacking at the same time. Anybody have any suggestions? I’ve been boosting it with a mxr badass modified od. Eq pedal? In the mean time I’m digging my 6505+ through a Mesa 412 cab

how do you like the solar compared to other guitars?
Feels along the same lines of quality as current schecter and LTD stuff! The neck is fatter than I figured it would be, which I don't mind. Pickups are good but not my favorite, but that will be the most subjective tonal point of any guitar.
What would you suggest, fellow MG bro? The Lil’ Bastard and mod, or the Blackstar HT5 with their mod?

I have a 5 watt combo version on the way stock, if it sounds half this good with an od in front I will be stoked with a more than adequate practice/bedroom jam amp...ha!
