The Elden Ring DLC Broke Me

This is a break from my usual "funny moment" esque videos and as you can tell, much longer as well. All the same I hope that you enjoy the video and I would love to hear what you think about it in the comments and if you have any sort of feedback or constructive criticism. I'd love to turn this into a series and I only want my videos to improve from here so please show it some support and I'll do my best to repay you in the form of good content.
Today I embark on my campaign on my character: Suavius, an intelligence/dexterity perfumer build I was working on. The name is after my "suave" emote on discord which is also a running joke within my community. Which you can join from the link below in the description.
• Funny enough, once I had started this playthrough on Suavius and got about 20-40 hours into the base game--it was then that the Elden Ring DLC was announced ever so conveniently. So I capped this character at level 120 and figured it would be perfect to tread the path left by kindly Miquella before getting farther than Mohg and the Fire Giant rather than take my first character into the DLC.
As usual FromSoftware's DLC ramps up in difficulty compared to the base game and I have no different experience here. Don't forget to activate the Scadutree Fragments they give you more damage and resistance to make the dlc easier similar to Golden seeds for upgrading your flask
Oh yeah, I did use the ones I found though I only had enough for two upgrades I think? I'm still going to keep running into that lion though. He's not getting the best of me.

With just how aggressive some of tge SotE bosses and enemies were it started to feel like DS3 again
@@LukeandhisGible I feel like Dark Souls 3 was way easier overall, but yeah these enemies are pretty aggressive. For me, it's just the fact they hit so hard. It's just a matter of learning the patterns though

Oh, if you are playing a perfumer, you are going to eat well in this DLC.
I've heard that a bit, it was really fortunate timing for me to get new perfumer weapons. I'm still yet to find any, so looking forward to that
@@kKaleidoscope_ Oh there is a couple around gravesite plains, one you can buy one you can find. Be mindful of big bridges and their soundings.

I didn't find it to be so much of a problem till the dlc 😔
I ended up taking them off in the next video and there is a noticeable difference
