Thank you very much for taking the time share how to install the optional roofing filters. I wondered if the optional filters needed alignment. Since Yaesu was making us buy the filter/s plus shipping both ways and labor to install them. Compared to the Yeasu FTDX10 optional " plug in play " roofing filter. Especially since all the shipping cost. From Tennessee to California plus insurance and back is costly. I feel comfortable with the tasks now. Ive also been wondering if the TX driver/s, output finals are different or not between the FTDX101D and MP models. To safely achieve the 200 watts output. My reason for questioning this. Is because of other Yaesu models, where you can turn up the output power. In the hidden menu's. Like the FT857, FT897, FTM350R, FT2980 and so on. Yet i do question the FTDX101MP External speaker / 50 volt power supply. Again thank you very much for the optional roofing filter installation process. Fine business de KK4YLF and 73
Congrats!!! Amazing radio. Definitely plan to add one after I get a SS amp first. Need to pull in new dedicated electrical into the shack and put up another antenna as well. Great time radio choice wise to be a ham. 73

Please can you make a comparison with this YAESU FTDX 101 MP with the FTDX 5000 that you have also used ??? I am in doubt to buy the YAESU FTDX 101 or YAESU FTDX 5000 ?? 73

Hallo Dirk leider kann ich dir auch nicht weiter helfen ich habe auch nur eine Englische fassung aber vieleicht gibt es eine irgentwo im Netz mal suchen vieleicht werden wir ja fuendig aber danke fuer deine reaction und Frage die mich auch wieder aufgeruettelt hat, wenn ich was finden sollte werde ich es melden okay vy 73 und noch alles gute fuers 2021 vom Bert PA5HR

Hallo there the feet in the front you can pull out and the radio change the angel to the eyes....you must pull on the Feet in the front and turn right than the Radio is higher to the Eyes my friend thank you for asking eish you all the best Vy 73 de Bert PA5HR

Hallo Bert,kannst du mir evtl sagen,ob der Preis für den ftdx101 beinhaltet das Netzteil, oder muss es dazu gekauft werden??? Ich empfinde so etwas auszupacken ist wie Weihnachten und Geburtstagsgeschenk auf einmal...😍😍😍
Hallo Olaf ja es gibt ja zwei Modelle einmal den ftdx101D und den FTDX101MP bei der ersten version ist es eine 13.8 Volt version da brauchst du extra eine stromversorgung aber bei der MP version wird dir das Netteil im Lautsprecher gehaeuse mitgeliefert der preis unterschied ist natuerlich betraechtlich aber dafuer hast du bei der MP version gleich 200 Watt und externen Lautsprecher mit stromversorgung und brauchst somit keine extras mehr......vielen dank fuer deinen Kommentar und der frage wuensche dir alles gute Vy73 de Bert PA5HR

hello, very good explanation, I have a question if I wanted to connect my MFJ 962E External Antenna Tuner is it possible either to the radio or the FPS 101 speaker power supply? Or would I have to get an external power supply? Many Thanks in advance
Hello there thank you for asking but am afraid that you have to use an external Power supply i use only Manually Tuner without any Power supply and i think you must use external power for your Tuner there....Vy 73 greetings from the Netherlands de Bert

Hey Larry K7HN yes i can say it is the best rig what i've ever had and the best Rig what you can get at the Moment that is my personal opinion....and i worked with big graet radios from Icom 7800 Ftdx 9000D Yaesu ect.ect. so my opinion is that the FTdx 101 D/MP for me the best Radio is what you can get and is very easy to use, so hope i can help you out with your choice best 73 and greetings be safe there de Bert PA5HR

Hallo Jakob bedankt voor je reactie ja het is een heel mooie TRX en ik ben heel blij ermee...ik heb de FTdx 5000 verkocht en toen de FTdx 9000D gekocht maar ik ben niet goed terecht gekomen mer deze grote Set dus heb ik hem maar in geruild voor een Icom IC 7800 en deze heb ik helaas met groot verlies moeten verkopen omdat deze zo ineens ophield ermee....maar ik heb dan besloten nog eens een nieuwe set aan te schaffen dus deze dan....en ik hoop dat deze een heel poos mee gaat . nogmaals bedankt en tot een volgende Vy 73 De Bert PA5HR

yes thank you drear Christophe for your comment all wat i can say is at the Moment am very surprised what a beautyfull and great Transceiver i wil make more tests and videos but this is for me the best Radio ive ever had my friend....thank you for the comment about our Cat yes this is a beauty and very cute also i love this Cat because they was homeless and we have her given a new Home and she is for almost 4 years now here at home so vy 73 de Bert PA5HR
