She has 2 or 3 variations of this song. Sometimes it goes a little short, some time the fuller length. She loves this song. It is like she worships this song.
I first heard Sarah singing outside a record shop in 1998. The owner of the store was playing the CD outside the shop on a loud speaker. I went in and asked who was singing. He told me Sarah Brightman. I left with 3 of her CDs.
I had a very different experience, I couldn't finish it without cringing. I think she should stick to being Christine. I think I'm just use to this song being sung my a male
Andrew Carl Elliott It's funny because the first time I heard her singing it, it was a former performance and I think she nailed some part (the highest: "Soar" for example) better than this one. Though, in overall, in this specific performance I prefer the way she sings the medium and lowest parts.
She sounds absolutely lovely and beautiful. I feel that I'm right there with her. Her voice is so warm. They choose the right person to play christine.
LivingMindfully1975 I read somewhere that A.L.W wrote the melody thinking of Sarah singing it and that was before he started working on PoTO. If I remember correctly.
Verdad que sus canciones son una explosión de emociones nunca antes sentidas? Nos hace soñar y vivir la historia cantada de una manera tan armoniosa que da miedo tanta dicha sentir🥰
Ohhhh, my Jesus. Speak to me, hold me. The days are lonely and long not being able to receive you in your Holy Eucharist. I miss your Sacraments my Lord and God. Please allow your people to come back to your temple and be with you.
I have heard so many renditions of this amazing song, mostly male, considering its Phantom's song and not many come close to or are as spectacular and do as much justice to Michael Crawford's rendition than the Sarah Brightman.. The key difference, and the key part of what makes their versions stand out from all the rest is not just the power of their voices but their ability to 'paint'/'colour' in the song with the words to give it true meaning, feeling and emotion.. thank you for sharing this!!!
Keine Twiggi, perfekt !!
Nighttime sharpens, heightens each sensation Darkness stirs and wakes imagination Silently the senses abandon their defenses Slowly, gently, night unfurls its splendor Grasp it, sense it, tremulous and tender Turn your face away from the garish light of day Turn your face away from cold, unfeeling light And listen to the music of the night Close you eyes and surrender to your darkest dreams Leave all thoughts of the world you knew before Close your eyes, let your spirit start to soar And you'll live as you've never lived before Softly, deftly, music shall caress you Hear it, feel it, secretly possess you Open up your mind, let your fantasies unwind In this darkness which you know you cannot fight The darkness of the music of the night Let your mind start a journey through a strange, new world Leave all thoughts of the world you knew before Let your soul take you where you long to go Only then can you belong to me Floating, falling, sweet intoxication Touch me, trust me, savor each sensation Let the dream begin, let your darker side give in To the harmony which dreams alone can write The power of the music of the night You alone can make my song take flight Help me make the music of the night
If Marilyn Monroe sang "Happy birthday, mr.president🍰" in the same way as Sarah "The music of the night🖤🌹", then the scandal wouldn't have been hushed up, since Kennedy would have divorced immediately!🔥💯😁😂

I don't care what other people say, I think she's got an absolutely gorgeous voice

Coming soon: Phantom of the Opera, featuring Sarah Brightman in every role.
‘Let your soul take you where you want to.. BOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHH’
Long story short, she has different lyrics. Ohter Phantoms cannot sing that certain lyric for the musical
Loooove that part
She hits notes that might be the most beautiful I have ever heard.
Angels live on earth...
I loved her role and style in repo the genetic opera
@@DEATH14269 she was amazing as blind mag
This is the best version of this song.....the best I've ever heard. But of course I love everything Sarah sings.
LivingMindfully1975 I read somewhere that A.L.W wrote the melody thinking of Sarah singing it and that was before he started working on PoTO. If I remember correctly.
Jackie has a deeper voice then Sarah and it is wonderful, but I prefer the crystal clear higher pitch, timbre and vibrato of Sarah’s voice.
@@anicav100 lol...jackie...go learn what singing is
I recommend the eden version.
@@artieskuld6858 the original is called Married Man and was written for her. You can see a video of Sarah singing it live.
Mi ángel de la música incomparable! Sin duda la mejor interpretación de esta pieza por una mujer. Grande Sarah!

HER VOICE - BRILLIANT AS A DIAMOND..
THE SONG-A WORLD FOREVER MASTERPIECE!
Oh to see Sarah as she was here, appearance (and voice) unaltered. Enchanting performance and performer.
The ending of that song gives me goose bumps every time.
It must be wonderful to have the imagination and talent to be capable of writing such magnificent music as this
THREE LINES IN AND I LEGIT GOT GOOSEBUMPS
Now imagine if the phantom was a female soprano, and she’s in love with a Tenor at the opera
Female soprano in love with another female soprano?

Nighttime sharpens, heightens each sensation
Darkness stirs and wakes imagination
Silently the senses abandon their defenses
Slowly, gently, night unfurls its splendor
Grasp it, sense it, tremulous and tender
Turn your face away from the garish light of day
Turn your face away from cold, unfeeling light
And listen to the music of the night
Close you eyes and surrender to your darkest dreams
Leave all thoughts of the world you knew before
Close your eyes, let your spirit start to soar
And you'll live as you've never lived before
Softly, deftly, music shall caress you
Hear it, feel it, secretly possess you
Open up your mind, let your fantasies unwind
In this darkness which you know you cannot fight
The darkness of the music of the night
Let your mind start a journey through a strange, new world
Leave all thoughts of the world you knew before
Let your soul take you where you long to go
Only then can you belong to me
Floating, falling, sweet intoxication
Touch me, trust me, savor each sensation
Let the dream begin, let your darker side give in
To the harmony which dreams alone can write
The power of the music of the night
You alone can make my song take flight
Help me make the music of the night
That can be dangerous.
I've noticed this song writer Andrew Lloyd Webber, writes a lot about the darkness.
This song truly belongs to her. Remember Married Man?
Pretty sure this is what U hear when you go up to heaven.
Quel frisson...
No one better.
Perfect.
You alone can make my song take flight~

Night time sharpens, heightens each sensation
Darkness wakes and stirs imagination
Silently the senses abandon their defenses
Helpless to resist the notes I write
For I compose the music of the night
Slowly, gently night unfurls it's splendor
Grasp it, sense it, tremulous and tender
Hearing is believing, music is deceiving
Hard as lightening, soft as candlelight
Dare you trust the music of the night
Close your eyes for your eyes will only tell the truth
and the truth isn't what you want to see
In the dark it is easy to pretend
That the truth is what it ought to be
Softly, deftly, music shall caress you
hear it, fear it, secretly possess you
Open up your mind, let your fantasies unwind
In this darkness which you know you cannot fight
The darkness of the music of the night
Close your eyes, start a journey to a strange new world
Leave all thoughts of the world you knew before
Close your eyes and let music set you free
Only then can you belong to me
Floating, falling, sweet intoxication
Touch me, trust me, savour each sensation
Let the dream begin, let your darker side give in
To the power of the music that I write
The power of the music of the night
You alone can make the song take flight
Help me make the music of the night
This is for you 🌹 I am pleased with you
Steve Huff used this to communicate with angels and ghosts.
This woman could sing that shitty Mia Khalifa song and still make it sound angelic
Awesome version. You are GREAT when you do have to sing with auto tune.
Magic

this song belongs to Sarah Brightman. That's it.
Imagine a lesbian Phantom of the Opera... (closing my eyes in bliss)
I wonder if Streisand could have done this ??
