Atari Adventure Centers

Atari Adventure Centers - this is one of Atari's least known endeavors, yet it's planning and preparedness for deployment was monumental. Atari had purchased and/or leased hundreds of locations around the United States to prepare for its release.
At the time, places like Time Out were some of the major arcade centers around the country and Atari planned to completely outdo these locations with not only an Arcade but computer centers, stores for buying everything from video games to computer to apparel. It would also have educational centers and interactive theaters. Atari was about to introduce a national launch of a major presence throughout the entire United States in every major mall and in airports and other high traffic locations. This would've been a massive marketing and PR launch.
