I just got my hands on one that was custom made for the drummer of RATT in the 80s for $200! Immediately fell in love with it. Feels good to play and sounds insane.
@@drumlck Ha! I remember that drum. I had bought the same drum, same finish and all, from John’s 3rd floor shortly before seeing yours at the Pocket. I bought mine because it matches the only kit I ever bought new a 4 ply superclassic shelled kit in mahogany stain. (Ordered late 88 got it like March of 89) Anyways I got mine cheap and it’s pretty nice. It’s an 84 so it has that one year only large Chicago keystone badge that looks like a Monroe badge. But this one here that you bought is a bit nicer & I think would match my kit a tad better. But… while still a great deal being nicer made it (accordingly) a bit more. I thought about a partial trade up into yours but in the end I’m too cheap. 😅 Actually part of it was also that I never had one of those 1984 big Chicago badged drums. And having a coliseum (at the time) was more just to say I have one. But when one in my finish showed up so I had to get it. Being an 84 badge was just a bonus. (To me) Funny that I came across two in this finish in a matter of a month or two as it’s not that common. 🤘👹👍 Nice playing by the way.
oh u also play with fred lmao thats sick, sick snare too !!!
yup! Thanks so much!
Wow,Beautiful drum!!
