This documentary made me really think... Like all the money I have spent so far in college only to work for someone else..I could've been my own business woman. I'm 21 right now ...I'm still gonna finish college but once I get that degree I'm gonna reach for the stars and be my own boss. The only advantage college brings is a financial safety net (depending on what career path you've chosen).....but omg the fact that she started off with 500+ dollars in her account is so crazy to me. i have much more in my account and i believe i can actually do this! i can put in alot of effort too. thanks ming lee. u are inspiring. i feel like crying...only because i thought owning a business was unattainable..like that was for grown people or for people who already have connections but u went out there handing out ur cards and MADE connections.

It truly means you are gaining on something and your potential and self confidence is too great for haters to comprehend. Like seriously look at this young lady refusing to stop and going a step further in educating women just like her. When I saw the part where that guy cried I got choked up because when I left hair school in 06 and failed to even pursue my state license (just like Ming) I had an aunt who had been running a salon in Lithonia GA for over 20 years who didn't inspire me or give me advice on how to use my talent towards financial freedom. Because in some black families unfortunately there can only be one success story. Ming, through her actions has inspired that young man even if nobody in his own family will bother to try.
