I hope someone plans to get into the area of solar eclipse totality and take video of a peculiar light ripple effect that happens just before and after totality. It might be much more visible with motion extraction. State hwy 177 and cty rd 355 near Jackson MO run parallel to the maximum totality line.

I wonder if you can take videos from a normal camera at nighttime and run motion extraction to get a form of 'night vision' ?
