I don't really care too much about the golds because I suck at catching them. Hopper don't exactly help that either. I did enjoy getting to upgrade Thunder and blastin them to bits with Adaptive Reload and Vacuum Shells. Next weekend is gonna be tons of fun.
The hopper spam plus dying tanki servers made this event a lot worse than I'd hope for
I have caught only one 50k gold box by accidentally I was using my hunter OD and used it on the right time there were like 4 hoppers trying to catch it. L TO HOPPERS
hey taspens, you should have tried playing the event in low ranks on your small account, much less people use hopper, but there are a lot of goldhunters with dictator heavy.

Annoying things for me is:
1st - Stoopid matchmaking GS score battles. Example: my GS is arround 3800/4000 (depends on what hulls/turret i use) and i see about half team is arround my 4000 GS.... but then enter players with 6000 and over 7000 GS and ruin my battle. Why? The system should not allow GS more than 1000 GS over. The batle should be about 1000 GS +/- to be more ballanced.
2nd - Lag between players. I see so many times players that really jumping or moove strange on battlefield
3rd - Annoying dead body that block me or block my range/shot.
4th - They have to nerf a lot the firebird on low ranks or block firebird acces until a bigger rank. Very annoying on start ranks becaause we can't get Fox firebird protection.
I have Burn Imunity on Wasp MK5 and Fox mk4 (at my 4000 GS) and almost every firebird kill me so easy in close range. Even the flame is not touch me enough i almost die instantly. Why? Too O.P.
5th - Is the stoopid % critical chance they bring it to the game... you can be punished with a maxed MK7 Mammoth by a mk1 smoky. that's a crap.
Bro literally hoppers are so new gen and unskilled tanki can remove them easy but they focus 100% on how much money they get rather than improvements to the game
i played hopper and firebird an caught like 15 mega (super?) golds and like 5 containers

in addition to the hunter, oddly enough, the vespa also worked very well in this event
I managed to get some supergolds with vespa, and I was lucky to get a measly 2 days of premium
sometimes the pump worked well to spoil the fun for the hoppers, but only sometimes.. xD
Well I enjoyed the event, Taspens, I think the hoppers made it quite fun. I went in with my mammoth/trickster and pulsar tesla it was fun zapping and crushing alot of hoppers. Saw some elite hoppers with the new assault hammer and firebird pulsar. It seemed Hammer and Firebird alot of the time, saw protection module assignment was fairly easy. So for this mode I think hopper, hunter and mammoth were best. It was almost as fun as the events during halloween 2 years ago when hopper was more op and there is was more...like tons of hoppers rico helios. I won some extra crystals and 1 day premium caught a few gold, but not much.

They should just remove that jump that hopper od gives you, cause its problem in CTF too, they use that jump with trickster. too easy to cap a flag
Same issue bro, like i never use hopper and just the normal hulls but they are a real pain. Still caught few super golds but no fun
if you are complaining about hoppers Then just use it. You can't say it is unfair. Is tanki you not suppose to be fair.

Bro you have to talk about the supply consumption now it's just crazy the drones are now causing bankruptcy...
I'll share my opinion on why this mode is not a Hopper only event: if you allow ODs (= Hopper), people with lesser in-game resources (but probably more money to spend on the game) and essentially lower ranks kind of "catch up" by getting as many golds as possible that otherwise they'd struggle to get by playing everyday and hopefully winning matches or getting high scores against higher ranked players. And the premise of this mode is; as long as there are more players NOT using Hopper in this mode, I (Hopper user) will have an advantage over them. In other words, these events are made for either players with lesser resources to catch up or players with maxed out gear or close that do find catching golds with Hopper fun. If everyone used Hopper, it would be much more chaotic and skill would play a bit more of a role, but you know, skill doesn't generate benefits because you can't pay to get more skillful, so... There you go.
They kind of did. There's a light hull mission that's freaking horrible. I like hopper's speed and flexibility, but one shot kills suck. And having to use a hull you're not used to just floods games with things like this. And toxic a$$ players. It feels very much like they're trying to push single tank users to buy kits for tanks they otherwise wouldn't be using to get through missions. The Dark Matter game is cute, but it cost so much to play if you run out of boxes or missions before you finish it it's still leaving people out. That's inevitable because it's a money grab. You shouldn't have to buy a pass for everything and then deal with hoppers everywhere and toxic players. And server lag.
Couldnt tell if it was the “accurate” anti cheat system or my potato wifi, but I only got 2 rounds where I was able to deal direct damage with my turret. Combined with the hoppers, the event mode was just demoralizing to play.
Thankfully there weren't as many hoppers at my rank, I used dictator for majority of the weekend and caught a few golds.
Next weekend might be better without overdrives, but playing without drones is quite annoying in this high damage turret meta (mostly firebird). I just wish they make an event mode with drones and without overdrives for once.
This game is unhealthy for you and everyone else bro, it causes anxiety, stress, emotional and psychological damage. Just quit, stop complaining and focus on irl tasks.
The best event would be if there where no overdrives, no oguments, no drones and no protections. Just supplies. But I don't see anything like that any time soon😢
I dont enjoyed this event at all, i got 0 super golds and every bate was full of hoppers with one shot hammers and rinochets killing me and taking the gold flying
I came back to play this event and it really disappointed me playing against max gs hoppers is not fun,2 years we say the same shit and still tanki does not get it Deleted frking hopper.

the best thing was when the servers lagged, you reloaded quicker than everyone else and was able to catch like 3 or 4 golds. I was able to catch a 50k gold this way. Also, screw hopper

I usually play around 1 or 2 MM battles per week these days to see the "new" event mode. I just hop straight into some XP/BP PRO Battle and chill there. I don't like all these Drones and especially Augments, so PRO Battles are very good option, even tho you don't get basically anything for playing them.

Tanki NEEDS to have an ONLY Hopper game mode, with 15-45% increased golds. But 3 times I was close to the Supergold, but Hoppers 😁💀

im a gud hopper user i dont abuse its od but rather just use the od for kills and caps

Ya hunter is good for this event, it's OD is sort of OP I wish they reduce the range of it... so annoying even more than hoppers

Hoppers make it fun cause most of are easy to kill, I loved using tesla pulsar cause no aim a field of luck of death pulsar...sort of fun to see if you can stop them from catching the gold box.
