- Hop on board to discover Eastbourne and the amazing white chalk cliffs of southeast England. Learn more about tide calculations and the consequences when going against strong tidal streams and then doing anchoring maneuvers in them! But in the end perseverance always pays off.
again,.. a great video guys.
Thank you for his well told story and filming. You two work so well together. Your windsurfers reminded me of me about thirty years ago, I was one. I raced every week, had a long board, a Fanatic Ultracat and a shirt board like those you show for wave jumping. Also the white cliffs of Dover. In my teens I walked those, I lived just outside Dover on the way to Canterbury. I learnt to sail in Dover in Dinghies.
Your boat looks lovely with its teak decks and well set up. Yes, I like your blog, thank you!
The Vindo 34ft., an excellent choice of yacht. I missed a beautiful example selling for a fair price a couple of years ago in the Netherlands - Leorgia.
Following a few sailing channels and just found yours. Love your photage of the dramatic tidal changes. Never seen that before, shot in such a good way. Good work and Good luck !👍
Thank you! Yeah, those tidal streams were crazy!😰
What a beautiful spot! Is it East Head? Thank goodness you have a big engine for the boat, I think a lot would have been forced to turn back!
Yeah, the engine saved us so often during our journey. The place is Chichester :)
Hi, You are doing great films! Very natural and not over commercial oriented! :) (I very much liked your Holland film)
We have in Sweden a Facebook group for Vindöowners and I put a link to your episod 20 (was it?), it is very liked and you will get some more viewers. Great luck on your trips! I will follow you from start to were you are now.
Take care! BR /Per
Thanks! The Vindö is a great boat maybe not for the tropics but for our home waters (Kiel)
Chances & Coincidences: I'm missing that part of the world, Chichester Harbour, soon to return. That's an atmospheric mooring between West Wittering and East Head; your camera pans past Pilsey Island, a bird sanctuary at the tip of Thorney Island. Thank you ⛵
Schönes Video, weiter so :-) LG Christoph
