I have been working with some skilled people on the heavy overhaul of 80105 at SRPS Bo'ness. The pandemic has put us back a year, but we should have her back in steam next Spring. The optimists think sooner, so here's hoping.
80007 is ex Polmadie shed, formerly a Caledonian Rly shed. Polmadie shed painted their smoke box number plates with a blue background. This engine was bought from BR straight out of service. The rest of the survivors of the class were bought by Woodham Bros scrap merchants and went to their scrap yard in Barry South Wales where they were eventually rescued by preservationists.
One of the finest locomotives ever built! lovely coaches behind her also.

Why is there so much steam escaping from the cylinders??
They’re clearing the condensed steam out of the cylinders - otherwise kapow goes the cylinder
