Played hundreds of hours of Deadside, it's very addicting if you want intense fights like in Dayz, but you can get geared very easily using missions and don't have to deal with alot of the annoying survival stuff

@TheFormActually its casual survival, but it still has food, water, hunger, thirst, if you dont drink or eat, you start to lost health, there's campfire cooking, there's now wild animals, including a deer that just released today, what else does it need? Tarkov style healing?

I got this game on release and I loved it but I said I would come back when they fixed the server stutter issues but every time i come back they are still there.
Sadly the only server host they have for independent servers is Gportal, and they are notorious for that. They are still a small team, and I'm confident they are still working on that issue.

After playing around 3000 hours of deadside and considering myself one of the most experienced players if not the most experienced player on the game, im extremely disappointed that were adding things like wolves and pve elements which btw are being added quite poor (my opinion) wolves spawn in SET locations (not radius spawn areas) disappointing. The deadside development team DOES NOT listen to us BTR; we have been asking for vehicles, new missions and new content regaurding guns, events etc for almost a year now. All of it has been essentially ignored by the development team but god damn i love this potential this game has along with the small tight knit player base. I cant give up hope on deadside & with that being said, see you lads out there -lemon ❤

@@bluetherobot tbh, id rather get no updates at all until they fix the lag when the servers are full, it makes the game unejoyable yet we are worried about adding pve elements my guy, then everyone wonders why the player count is declining its not rocket science it really isnt.
Has anyone noticed shooting a sniper like svd or the Mosin or even 50 that the audio distance you hear it is very short in game? Me and a buddy were testing this the other day in a server I was like maybe 250 to 300 meters away couldn't hear my shots I was like this is a high caliber set of rifles and you can't hear it unless your beside me practically was not sure if bug or feature lol. love to see lasers and night vision goggles be a thing too at somepoint since some parts of buildings at night are tough even with flashlights. But I'm glad to see the nights handled well with the lighting. Base building and being in a squad can kinda be a pain in the ass where you can be registered at a friend's base and vice versa to share chests etc ease of moving loot runs around and sell runs. Personally I'd love to see some more gun variety like m14 g3 fal as val vss kar98k ppsh desert eagle some revolvers of various types svt 40 sks hk416 sig 553 g36c ak100 series svu the weird an-94 but is has to have hyperburst 1800 rpm then full auto that goes 1800 2 shots then 600 rpm on 3rd shot then carries 600 until the next trigger pull so it's accurate to the real gun also the hmr scope if it had toggable between the red dot that should be up top and the pos1 scope had illumination toggle in the reticle for certain times of day. Some shouod have variable zoom there needs to be another lpvo scope in game like a strike fire. Suppressors and lasers with night vision though would be fun as hell

they basically looked at dayz and said " lets copy that" and madE a mess of it, they even have towns named the same xD
You know some of those town names are based in real life, also its still in development. DayZ was only a mod when it started, and I remember people bashing it. Now look at it. Good things take time.
I have over 4000 hours in dayz I've been playing since it came out in 2013 and I can say that this game made by 2 people is light years ahead of dayz it's a bit slow getting updates but quality
dayz doesn't have a single thing that works properly and doesn't have a bug in it
the problem of this game is that there are ways to make money easily which makes you get tired of it quickly and of course the slow updates it gets

@@bluetherobothe thinks because theres 400-500 daily players the games dead to which i slight agree and disagree, the game isnt dead people are just fed up with the extended periods of time BETWEEN updates, when updates release we see a 100-400 player count increase. Alot of players are fed up with bad pixels and tiny builds (without a better word) BULLSHIT and unrealistic timelines for roadmaps etc.
