The Benelli 900 Sei was introduced in 1979 as the Mk 1, that model had no fairing. The MK 2 was in production from 1980 - 1982, it had a Moto Guzzi Le Mans Mk 1 bikini fairing, I still own one of those. The 900 Sei in this video has the Mk 3 fairing fitted. The Mk 3 was in production from 1983 until 1985, the final version of the Sei was the Mk 4, 1986 - 1989. The Mk 4 version had the same instrument console and fairing as the Moto Guzzi Le Mans 1000. In the ten years of production, Benelli only built 1878 of their 900 Sei model. The 900's predecessor the 750 Sei was available in two series from 1974 -1978, there were 3200 of the 750 Sei's produced in those four years. The 750 Sei made it's public debut as the worlds first production six cylinder motorcycle at the 1972 motorcycle show in Modena, Italy.
@@AldoBalleriniVideo Thank you for your reply, the fairing in the video is from a Mk 3 900 Sei, not a Mk 2, the Mk 2 used the same roundish red and florescent orange fairing that was fitted to the original 1976 Moto Guzzi Le Mans 850, commonly now known as the Mk1. I have done a fair bit of modifications to my Mk 2 900 Sei, these include a set of six 22mm Dell'Orto carbs with aluminium velocity stacks, a modified 750 Sei six into six Silentium exhaust system, Tomaselli clip-on bars and q/a throttle, modified Paulo Tarozzi rear set foot controls that were intended for the Mk 2 Le Mans. I converted the final drive chain and sprockets to a 630 simplex items, I never liked the stock duplex chain as it was not required and expensive to replace. Thank you for your video, I enjoyed watching it.
BELLAAAAA
Che voce!!! Anche la linea è molto accattivante
