Harold Halibut is a handmade narrative game about friendship, and life on a city-sized spaceship submerged in an alien ocean. Join Harold as he explores a vibrant retro-future world in his quest to find the true meaning of ‘home’.
It’s been 250 years since your home - an ark-like spaceship - fled an Earth on the verge of cold war to find a habitable planet to preserve the human race.
You are Harold, a young lab assistant for the ship’s lead scientist, Jeanne Mareaux. While most of the ship’s inhabitants have reconciled themselves to a life lived aboard the sunken ship, Mareaux still works tirelessly to find a way for the ship to leave the planet and find a new, dryer home.
But the weird, wonderful and diverse people of the FEDORA I keep Harold busy too… Until one fateful encounter plunges Harold into a world no one could have imagined - and one that may hold the key to Mareaux’s re-launch plans.

This is the type of game Wes Anderson would have made.
I was shown this by my motion design lecturer years ago and followed your account and I am happy that I am still as enamoured by this as I was back than. I dont play a lot of games but I will definitely purchase this ❤

Stop motion has been used in the past in games though.. I mean.. The Neverhood Chronicles used stop motion clay animation.. and its sequel Armikrog as well..
@@TheGamersGrotto I know yes, I'm sorry, maybe I expressed it wrong. We do not see many examples of stop motion games because they have a slightly different and challenging production process compared to others. I meant to say that I hope it inspires more stop-motion games.

Everyone seems to like this art style, many of you say they have never seen something like this... which is really sad, because there is another game from Germany, called "Trüberbrook" (or Truberbrook for international players). This other Adventure used pretty much the same technics for building its environments and charakters. Check it out, its really worth your time and included in Game Pass by the way ;)

I've been waiting for this game for years and I honestly thought it would only be available for PC so when you had that Xbox logo at the end I almost cried. I was getting ready to try to justify buying a new computer to run it.

I was so excited by this game. Unfortunately, I tried the demo and there's something very wrong when super sampling, DLSS or otherwise. When super sampling is enabled a portion of the screen is cut out. When I open the options, I can only see a quarter of it. Besides, the HDR is lacking, there's only 3 options for the nits: 1000, 4000, 10000. Why not a slider? My TV is 730 nits.
This is in a league of itself.
