Getting a big stuck in your hair is normal, but not knowing how long you’ve had it in there for is the weird part. You always should at least brush your hair to move the oil down to the ends from your scalp. But as for the big being in there, it happens man. Sometimes you just wanna be outside with your big curly hair, while the moths and all the lil bugs are flying around near the street light that you pass by.
I have braids in currently and i wash my hair at the end of every week or at the start of every week but not washing your hair for 100 days is just so gross
I wash my hair once a week because of depression ( yah its probably an excuse) I'm trying to work hard to take care of myself more, anyway I feel ashamed when I walk out on the street with such hair. And I defenetly won't post about it. Heck, I'm trying to wash my hair more often !
Black people can't wash their hair twice a day, one wash takes two hours minimum since our hair is incredibly high maintenance. Black hair and sometimes other curly hair (3a - 4c) can go for months without washing and be completely fine, in fact not tampering with our hair makes it grow faster and helps with less breakage. And lice in black hair is really rare because lice find it difficult to attach to the kinks and coils our hair has. Also, washing your hair twice a day is terrible for any hair type, you're drying out your scalp. Your hair needs the natural oils it creates, unless you get really sweaty that day I promise you'll be fine if you go a couple days or even weeks without washing your hair.
twice a day is overkill. honestly idrk how straight hair would work (2c-3b so still not 4c) but even the people with straight hair i know wash like once-three times a week
I personally dont get it, as someone with depression its somewhat common for me to go months without showering in general due to my struggling with self care
Just so people know it’s not just black people that can go longer than a few days without washing their hair… it’s just people with super curly/ coily hair texture :)
Now as a black girl when you have a hairstyle it should last about 3 months which is 120 and then when you take the hairstyle out then we wash our hair but you shouldn’t always wash you hair everyday or every week you should do every 2 months because it is bad if you wash your hair everyday or every week.
I think the fact that its 100 days as someone with 4C hair isbt the gross part (like its not ordinary but i could see someone not washing their hair for 100 days and being fine), its the bug. That shouldve definetly promted her to wash it IMMEDIANTLY.
Kind of unrelated yet related at the same time..? Idk but- I have sensory issues and washing my hair is the worst thing in the world to me. I have mental breakdowns on the floor just hearing the water run, I’ve been like this for over 9 years (I still sometimes want to shower, but recently it’s been really bad and it hasn’t been as bad as this since I was 5) I wish that I didn’t have to wash my hair, but I don’t want to shave it either.. does anyone have any tips on how I can start showering without tears? I don’t want it to get so bad to the point I don’t shower and I have no clue on what to do, please help! 😫
I was thinking this. When a person is suffering from mental health issues- whether its chronic issues or acute depression, dental care and hair care usually are the first things to go out the door. Unfortunately, name calling like saying they’re “gross” or “lazy” only makes the situation worse, even if it’s coming from a tough-love perspective. The best thing for people in a situation of untreated mental illness is encouragement to start their self-care again and hoping the best for them.
For us coloured people like brown skins or blacks , we don’t need to wash our hair often like Caucasian people do aka white people and it’s because our hair types are not the same
It’s also really really good for your hair because of the natural oil that your scalp creates, but I find it really gross to not wash my hair every day and that’s just my opinion and my choice
This all could’ve been fine if she had braids for those 3 months honestly I don’t know about 200 days and 3 months is pushing it a bit but with some braids she could last 2 months or more🥲

@@weese1370 nope no it doesn’t me and my whole family are hair stylists specialize with 4c hair or black hair my mother hair and most of the people in my family hair is down their backs all they is wrap it up 2 to 3months later they take it down wash it and so on ur hair will grow very fast uncles it’s y’all genes and y’all hair can’t grow and weak and thin but we got thick black hair healthy long black hair do ur research 😭🤣
Heck, I'm trying to wash my hair more often !
honestly i wash mine once a weak and it’s perfectly fine. depends on hair type but 100 days is disgusting no matter what
That is so bad, girl probably got it worse than lice. This is why I wash my hair twice a day to avoid looking like this, my worse fear!!
I’m personally an every 2-3 days type of gal but to each their own
Looking like what???
Horrendous twice a day
Black people can't wash their hair twice a day, one wash takes two hours minimum since our hair is incredibly high maintenance.
This is down right disgusting 🥶
NO NO NO THAT BUG IS NASTY
That loop was cleannnn🥶
I try
I can tell you do such a good job😊
I go 2-3 months without washing my hair (being black am I right)
“As some1 with 4C hair this is ok-“ NO ITS NOT BC THERE WAS A BUG IN HER HAIR!!‼️⁉️⚠️
Just so people know it’s not just black people that can go longer than a few days without washing their hair… it’s just people with super curly/ coily hair texture :)
who’s the tampon girl? can someone explain?
she didn’t start at day 73 it’s just that she had deleted all the videos
Now as a black girl when you have a hairstyle it should last about 3 months which is 120 and then when you take the hairstyle out then we wash our hair but you shouldn’t always wash you hair everyday or every week you should do every 2 months because it is bad if you wash your hair everyday or every week.
I think the fact that its 100 days as someone with 4C hair isbt the gross part (like its not ordinary but i could see someone not washing their hair for 100 days and being fine), its the bug. That shouldve definetly promted her to wash it IMMEDIANTLY.
Agreed! I felt like I had so little time to explain but whether the bug was real or if she faked it for fame it was still gross
She had braids until day 73 so she didn't wash her hair
I could’ve sworn she got them done twice but I could be wrong. Her hair was totally doing fine until she took the braids out and started with the gel
Kind of unrelated yet related at the same time..? Idk but-
I have sensory issues and washing my hair is the worst thing in the world to me. I have mental breakdowns on the floor just hearing the water run, I’ve been like this for over 9 years (I still sometimes want to shower, but recently it’s been really bad and it hasn’t been as bad as this since I was 5)
I wish that I didn’t have to wash my hair, but I don’t want to shave it either.. does anyone have any tips on how I can start showering without tears? I don’t want it to get so bad to the point I don’t shower and I have no clue on what to do, please help! 😫
I was thinking this. When a person is suffering from mental health issues- whether its chronic issues or acute depression, dental care and hair care usually are the first things to go out the door.
Unfortunately, name calling like saying they’re “gross” or “lazy” only makes the situation worse, even if it’s coming from a tough-love perspective.
The best thing for people in a situation of untreated mental illness is encouragement to start their self-care again and hoping the best for them.
U have ptsd?
Broooo am I the only one who shampoos her hair every 5 days
Remember humans weren't born with shampoo and conditioner
They were definitely born with water!
For us coloured people like brown skins or blacks , we don’t need to wash our hair often like Caucasian people do aka white people and it’s because our hair types are not the same
even then, 200 days is way too long
It’s also really really good for your hair because of the natural oil that your scalp creates, but I find it really gross to not wash my hair every day and that’s just my opinion and my choice
This all could’ve been fine if she had braids for those 3 months honestly I don’t know about 200 days and 3 months is pushing it a bit but with some braids she could last 2 months or more🥲
Jokes on y’all my brother hasn’t washed his hair in 6 months (he’s not depressed or anything like that he just says shampoo is a scam💀)
Aren’t you the same person who said that you stopped washing your hands when you started college? Or was that someone else?
100% was not me. That’s disgusting 🤮
They act like it’s a year….
Again I think everyone is missing that she claimed to find a bug in her hair…
@@SavannahSmilesNews The bug that she found was a moth and that could've happened to anyone it's not like it was living on her scalp that's a different story
Girl, its black hair, you can't relate(no offense)
Nah babes finding bugs is crazy
as a nigga i can’t relate to finding bugs in my hair either whaaaaa 💀
No no. I don't go that long without washing my hair. Just NO!
Some people dont have running water so they cant
Black hair can go for months without washing cause our hair is not that oily but white peoples hair is so oily you need to be washing it frequently
and somehow i get called disgusting for washing my hair once a week?😭 (my hair is curly but like 3a not 4c)
That's literally hair abuse !😢
Specially for woman with natural hair, which sometimes can became cycle of neglected towards our own hair.
(Go watch a video from Coillete )
She can explain better to yall about this matter.
Says the straight hair white lady and whos the lady in the video? A beautiful black woman who has super curly hair
I can tell you haven't watched the original videos and probably commented this instead of watching the on screen footage. The people who have seen the original videos with 4c type hair have come out to say this is not how to take care of curly hair. Regardless of hair type, you cannot repeatedly put this much gel in your hair daily and not wash it. Clumps of old dried hair gel started falling out of her hair. That's disgusting.
Black hair is different from white hair, y'all hair get nasty and greasy, black hair just gets long
Fam y’all lying to yourselves. I’m mixed and my friend was convinced since she has 4c hair it doesnt get greasy. She didn’t was her hair for two weeks, it was oily, had dandruff, stunk and looked matted.
@LilacMorelli did she take care of it? Or that's maybe her genes cuz mine don't get like that..
@@LilacMorellii’m 4c my hair legit doesn’t get greasy, it’s the exact opposite, your one friend doesn’t speak for all 4c people
whatever makes you sleep at night
you’re right. however 100 days and finding a bug in your hair means you should wash it.
May I ask what the “ tampon girl “ is All About I’m just a bit confused 😅
If you don’t know it’s really gross and I would like to go back to before when I knew about her
it’s a girl who ate her used tampon 😅
@@SavannahSmilesNewsplease tell me
Idk id rather not wash my hair for 100 days than drink period blood 😭
Fr
I have a 17 step skincare routine with my wavy hair unless I straighten it but miss girl hell to the friggin NO would I not like….this is downright disgusting.
OK, but listen to this the people that live for us are greatest ancestors that ever lived did not wash their hair as often as you think they did not have shampoo they did not have conditioner like we do now, but look back at some photos, their hair their hair is beautiful Luscious long, beautiful, think again and then decide to tell people that you’re telling people she may have had some shit going seeing if her hair would get healthier after those 100 days after the first wash it could’ve😮
She finally washed it.... With dish soap...
I am pretty sure she put that moth there
yall its satire chill out
I’m skeptical it’s real
@@SavannahSmilesNewsgirl theres so many white girls doing this “challenge” that seem less skeptical so why dont you whine about them instead?
@@peachykreamaki4496true
@@peachykreamaki4496but the original creator made the video first, i think that’s why her focus was on .. the one who started the “trend” or joke
That was a month that's died in her hair and with a month dies that means it has laid eggs so she month eggs in her hair
I didn’t wash mine for 90 when I had braids🤷🏼♀️
She did not have braids and was putting gel in her hair pretty much every day while filming
101 days... and then stopped which good.
i don’t think it’s purely about fame. it can be experiment.
The way it’s filmed screams rage bait
Heck no
Um no not me how is with me😊
But how do we know she didn't actually wash her hair
Honestly I’m a bit skeptical. As I understand, typically you wash your hair in the 1-2 days before getting braids (or sometimes day of at the appointment) and she had previously posted her getting braids. Also I believe she’s said her mom is a hairstylist, so I’d imagine she would know you shouldn’t go that long.
Wow since you know so much why don't you educate us more on black hair. She found a bug, something i'm sure was staged. And since she didn't hop in the shower right away she's disgusting???? Like do you realize how many hours it takes to wash your 4c hair in comparison to hair like yours? Talk about ignorant.
Wait... TAMPON LADY???????
I wash my hair every two days, that’s just how my hair functions because it gets pretty oily
I get how many people don’t need to do that and have wash days for their hair, BUT THIS IS JUST HORRENDOUS
Absolutely not
