Gus will forever hold it against Nilsa that she rejected him in the beginning. He is not a guy who takes rejection well and he has a big ego. He still has a thing for her and is attracted to her but he enjoys making her chase because he wants revenge for her initial rejection. It's stupid but that's exactly what's happening. I think there will always be attraction between them and I honestly think they'd be a cute couple but I don't see it ever happening because of Gus' pride and the way he enjoys playing mind games. I didn't like Nilsa in the first season but she got much better as time went on. She's growing up a little bit.
