In regards to Young Avengers, I consider the Director's Cut as a reprint since it came around a month or so later if I remember correctly. I'm sure I'm not the only one that thinks that and refused to pay any premium on it. I know when I bought my Director's Cut, I just got it for completionism reasons since I had cover A as well as the WizardWorld edition.
I remember seeing those captain marvel 17 second print in 5 below in multi-packs in Springfield il. I remember saying to myself “who wants a second print”. Haha.
The marvel point one book drastic tanking is nuts! It’s a thick book with several notable happenstances. And the cover A had a printing error line through the middle in a percentage of the run
a great year end video! I've upgraded some of these keys to a higher grades this year. The funny thing is that I bought them all at a value close (or some even less) than when I got my lower grade ones 2-3 years ago.
One of the great things about collecting comics is that there is no absolute correlation between great story/art and value. There are a lot of great comics in dollar bins
I can see why these books are going down. No offense to speculators or fans of these books, but I wouldn't pay the cost of shipping for any of these books even if they were free! 😅 Watching your website 3 times a day is a favorite hobby of mine; I have missed out on many great deals!
As a KOTA (Kid Older Than Average) my favorite indoor toy was an Erector set, but i basically played outdoors and my bicycle with a banana seat was the best.
Cool video. I have a question, I hope you don't mind. Are comic book slabs any better than tcg/sport card slabs for UV protection? I know the big 3 in cards are all bad, all have under 20% protection so I was wondering if Comic books are any better protected. Hopefully you can answer. Thanks!
Yep bought Marvel Point One last year only because I am a Nova fan and followed the Frankie Rae and Sam Alexander story line. Both are good and I really like the art on the Point One book.
The modern books, I can understand a little bit more since those characters aren’t really as established, but, the bronze and copper stuff is a little bit harder, stomach for sure
I’m surprised that I only had one tank on the list. Still holding on to hope for a lot of others. If I wasn’t such a hoarder/collector!!! Hahahaha great video man. Keep killing it!!!
That Thor 2 having a bad cover reminded me of another book I recently realized is bad. Black Panther 1? HORRIBLE cover for a #1 of a first solo series.
can you cover the comics people actually like? not random bad speculation. you easily could have done many other real books and not random variant slop. really disappointed in this video.
Thanks to yourself I tought myself how to find 9.8's and I've been pretty successful with it! So much appreciated Bry, I may shoot over a list to you of some nice raw books mild keys I have for sale my nane is Ross btw if do get an email from me.
My strategy of buying high and selling low is going strong this year 😢
🤣
Congrats on another year of great advice and important info you’ve shared with the community!

That makes a lot of sense! 💯

Man, second prints used to be like toxic garbage, no one would touch them. It's wild how that made them rare and valuable today
Great info, just added these to my wishlist , thanks dude!
Always great info- happy new year Bry!
Buying is always a gamble, weather to keep or flip! Timing is everything!!
Just started collecting seriously about a year ago and your videos have helped a lot. Definitely enjoying the content!
Always keeping us in the know. Thanks and Happy New Year!!
The sketch version of Bradshaw's Point One has been on my list for years
So hard to find…
The marvel point one book drastic tanking is nuts! It’s a thick book with several notable happenstances. And the cover A had a printing error line through the middle in a percentage of the run
Sad to see as I have a YA #1 out being graded. But it’s ok because I loved the art and had it signed and remarked by Jim Cheung!!
Happy New Year Bry. $100 for She Hulk 1 (9.6) truly is a steal !
a great year end video! I've upgraded some of these keys to a higher grades this year. The funny thing is that I bought them all at a value close (or some even less) than when I got my lower grade ones 2-3 years ago.
Great video Bry! Happy New Year!

Thank you for the research. All of these were books I was the fence on. Love your videos
Another great video. Great info on tanking issues.
A couple of these seem good to pick up.
They say spec is dead but love for comics never dies 😎
💯
Awesome video Bry.. Happy New Year by the way!
Oh man! I didn't know about the Young Avengers Director's cut! I need it!!! I hope it keeps going down in value!!!!
Always appreciate this channel thanks again Brian for something awesome comic wise
I wouldn't spend big $ on a modern book. Somewhere along the way they take a dive.
Thanks for the video Bry. “Buy on the Dip”🤑. Keep grinding bro! ✌️
Oooh thanks for the tips! Will be on the hunt for She Hulk 1 🙂
I am sorry, I can't help but ask about that Samuri Santa on the wall. 😂 You need to explain that.
First Jim Lee Art
@@TheDjk300ComicGuy GET OUT! I had no idea. Thanks for the info.
Great vid, keep ‘em coming! 👍
Gonna check out that 1st Mockingbird!
Always great content and observations!
Thanks for keeping us in the know Bry!

The cost of shipping 😂😂
you said in one sentence, my entire closing point (see above). Nicely done!
@@ddougherty8266 Thanks D!
The only thing that i dont like about my comic shop is buyer’s premium if you dont use eft.
As a KOTA (Kid Older Than Average) my favorite indoor toy was an Erector set, but i basically played outdoors and my bicycle with a banana seat was the best.
I still love those Bronze Age female character keys and would love the chance to have them in 9.8s. Happy New Year, Bry.

Cool books thanks for the advice!
I love She-Hulk, gonna look out for this one.

Congratas dude! You won an unclaimed giveaway for ASM 301, dm me your shipping details!
@@BrysComics thx, I tried to DM you on insta but won't let me until you follow me
Belay the above. Emailed you.
What’s the 9.5 Young Avengers doing?
The modern books, I can understand a little bit more since those characters aren’t really as established, but, the bronze and copper stuff is a little bit harder, stomach for sure
That marvel team-up and the she-hulk are nice pick ups. Appreciate the news, look forward to your next one.
I picked up a raw copy of She-Hulk 1. I love the character and hope they bring her back and improve the character in the MCU, but it may be unlikely.
when do you do mystery boxes?
The Young Avengers director's cut looks cool thanks for the video
Hah, I slammed a 9.8 1st Mockingbird at its peak.
What's the story on corner hulk?
Happy new year
Happy new year!
Happy New Year bro. Hold on your hat. I'm feeling good. S*** stuff is coming LOL. Anyways, happy New Year!
Great advice as usual.
You could put a group of these together for a giveaway!!!!!😁😁😁😁😁
The FUQU license plate is awesome 😂. I would enter my 3 character high score initials as FUQ!
😂😂
She-Hulk #1 for $100 sounds good
Still hunting. Good video reference. Fan of show and buyer
Solid video as always!
Yes I agree with you. If you don't like the comic, don't buy it. If it doesn't go up in price, at least you have a comic you like. Thanks Bry!
Wow - some tanked a lot -had no idea
1st appearance of Jane Foster as Thor was in What If.
Need to try and get my hands on that she-hulk
I’m surprised that I only had one tank on the list. Still holding on to hope for a lot of others. If I wasn’t such a hoarder/collector!!! Hahahaha great video man. Keep killing it!!!
😂🤞
Thanks Bry. Interesting video
Thank god She-Hulk 1 went down I had to avoid this since it went so high. Now I can buy in 👍🏾
As always great content
Never was an investor. I only ever buy (with very few exceptions) books/characters that I like. My kids can sell them after I die, if they want.
Nice vid, Marvel Team Up interests me.
Bry, thanks for the bad with the good! I think I should have sold my Young Avengers!
Definitely would have to be something you love to buy it.
I’m probably gonna buy a 9.8 of first Sam Alexander in 2025. That’s just so cheap comparatively and I love that character
Every time I watch your videos I feel like I just have a ton of toilet paper, bagged and boarded for the coming apocalypse.
Great video, thx.
Love videos like this
Good Video ‼️‼️
As 2025 approaches, it’s time to start planning the 1st Annual Bryapalooza Comicon & Burrito Fest.
Thanks for the video. 😃
Buyers market!
Spec is always fun
Man those 2000/2010s covers sucked. No effort at all. I know they say "you shouldn't judge..." but man. Rough
That Thor 2 having a bad cover reminded me of another book I recently realized is bad. Black Panther 1? HORRIBLE cover for a #1 of a first solo series.
You mean the jack kirby?
lol yes that one. Not his most epic work imo
I'm seeing a lot of content creators just skipping the grading. CBCS doesn't even have the regular sig events on their website anymore.
Buy high sell low is my motto!
Comics heading South. Will it ever end?
No characters that I'm a fan of, so I think I'll pass on these comics if given a choice!, thanks Bry
Hopefully those free slabs I’m going to win can be shipped to Canada😊
Buy low, sell high! Smart collectors take advantage.
Makes me cry to see my She Hulk tank like that….
You can thank Disney for that one...😒
Falling knives?
They’re close to the floor so the knife won’t go too deep 😂
lol tis but a flesh wound (lost both arms)
I wouldn't buy a comic with bad cover art unless it was really cheap.
Great video
I have the young avengers in a 9.6…. I wouldn’t trust any of the other books
Wow what a tank
Looking for some good deals
I don’t own any of these thankfully 😂
These books are not surprising. Covers are not the best for sure
Most new books are a risk, good luck people
Nice video
👍

Not surprised..those are all horrible books IMHO 🤷♂️
She-Hulk is a solid 80s book. Disney ruined the show and that tanked the spec.
@janicearroyo-wright8529 good books don't need successful TV shows to be good.
@@bestcore1214 I agree 100%
