Welcome back!!! Do we like this perspective or the one from the stands better???? Also, the Independence Day Thrill Show got postponed from July 3rd to July 10th due to the lovely weather lol enjoy and stay tuned for more racing ! 🏁
Was not sure of the new angle until the Corvette pulled off the crossover in 3 & 4. Wow what a great move! Having the vehicles moving away from camera on the backstretch hides how fast they get moving. Personally I don't mind, gives a better view of turn 3&4 when the drivers are really pushing it to win.
This is a much better perspective and you can actually hear the throttle response/control on everyones driving style and its more involving and can hear the cars much better, i think its much more fun this way, ive been watching for around 3 years now, keep it up, this was a good one with alit of my favs, i love the old fat fendered ford truck best, shes a mean ride, but i like watching the old white camaro too, stuns me everytime, im surprised the white trans am didnt hold with him better, he usually pulls the win off.
I like this better as you get to really hear the throttle down the back straight. In the stands the audio all kinda echoed and ran together couldnt hear half the pack
Excellent show, thanks for all your time and effort. A few other channels offer similar content, but you always have the best quality racing and video. I just love this stuff.
These guys always put on a great show, thanks for being there and recording it for us. Really bummed about the rainout this week, was pretty excited about running down there. Not sure I'll be able to do next week but I will get down there soon.
For the most part I'd say all camaro and sibling platforms do well. I've also seen a ton of fast awd cars like Kenny kline and his Evo. Or the guy in the rally themed sti I can't remember the name of. I've seen a ton of great driving out of the Johnson families by watching spectator drags. I think it was Brad in either the same or similar white camaro, drifting along the wall. I've also seen some wild driving and fast trucks in the pickup truck drags. I love the community tbh.
I agree with that, i love it and look forward to it, but i am waitin on the day a built wicked foxbody or svt cobra, or new 5.0 coyote comes on the track and cleans house, id like to see some with good drivers behind them.
@@JukeboxAlley I am waiting for the day where the youtube car community, both fans and content creators alike, from all over USA/Canada make an arrangement months in advance to storm one of these local track events and put on an incredible show. There would be so many contenders, the show would be a couple hours long. It would also be great for the local track as it would more than pack stands with fans from all over, and bring attention to the sport, bringing in drivers for future events. I love the local feel of these, but a massive one time event would be a treat to see.
I like this perspective, makes me feel closer and more connected with the racing. I have recently discovered these spectator drags and have been binge watching your vids from the beginning up to todays vid. Love them all! You do a great job! Keep up the good work! I just wish my local track did this so I could participate.
Thanks for the great videos! This track has the best cars racing spec drags but the worst setup for a good race.. they should move the finish line further from the last turn so there's a chance for the outside car. Imo. I like both camera angles.
Can’t drag race in a circle but I have always wanted to do this since I grew up in seekonk I just can’t risk the car. The town should have let them put the real drag strip in years ago when it went up for vote, it be making money hand over fist they wouldn’t know what to do with it all.
Here in Colorado I witnessed one of these spectator events. One guy took his show quality straight axle frontened 67 chevelle out on the track and absolutely trashed it attempting to win the race ! Can't fix Stupid .
@@donaldjcourtemanche6199 wow, now thats interesting, need to boost it and itll definitely pull with the built v8s with the right tire, that thing is quick as it is.
@@TBERGMEDIA Thanks for heads up. I'll be checking that out. I've been following Seekonk since I was a kid and an old Cougar used to win the spectator drags. Then an old red camaro used to win a lot and Dinardo's Ford tbird. Now its Johnson Brother's camaros or kline's Mitsubishi. I was really hoping to see thr white crown vic back. That driver used to drive a Pontiac.
i cant be the only one who thinks this flagging is pretty lame. not all of the drivers are even set before the starting flag is waved on some of these races.
As a rhode islander I know a few of these guys, when the fuck did it turn into f body fest, all running black c5 wheels. with a missing tail light. Christ, and the z06 needs a new driver it should have done so much better
Actually this is some of the best driving a C5 Corvette has done on this track. Most C5’s would be into the wall or spinning out. Let’s see you race your C5.
The driver of that corvette used to drive a white camaro and win all the time years ago. That car had to much power and not enough weight to keep the tires to the ground. 90s camaros have dominated the track when the AWD cars don't show.

I like both tbh. Wanna see more of this

This is better. Plus I didn’t have to hear people talking in the background. And btw the black Camaro beat that vette

The five people in the stands were pumped as I am to see this comeback.

All the F-bodys😍😍😍
The last race with two laps were awesome. Thank you for the video.
Don't know how I missed this one! Great racing once again, keep em coming!
This is a good angle. Really clear shot of the line. Good stuff as always.
That was a pretty good show! Thx for recording it for us @TBERG MEDIA.
Glad to see lots of 4th gen Camaros and trans am.
Great perspective on the races! Very entertaining! Thanks for sharing!

I can’t believe I’m the only one mentioning the Ford pick up!
Very nice build.
Huge respect to the gray '78 Camaro going against the white Camaro Turbo !
That's a fast ride👍
What I’ve learned from years of watching spectator drags is: 3rd/4th gen F bodies dominate

@@nihalanth They cap the number of cars that can enter. The number is pretty big, but the field can be limited.
They dominate until an 80"s g body puts them to shame.
Be nice to see a bunch of new competitors one of these days
The more the merrier, we’re lucky to have a great group of guys who come back year to year as well !

I like this drag racing in a circle and real cars too
It never gets old, that’s for sure !
Always excited to see that XJ! Wonder what's done to it

Thumbs Up and Happy 4th July for you and your subscribers.
This angle is nice. I never really got how the track was shaped until now
The fire bird had a fender on the vette wtf
Great footage!!!!! 🤘
Love that white Camaro and grey 80 Camaro
I like this angle better.
I found it weird I got use to Infront of the line

Wow, these "spectators" sure know how to drive! Their cars are pretty dialed in as well.
Majority of these guys have been racing for many years & certainly have worked their way up to this point !
nice! thanks!
Nice to see that Pontiac Fiero back, he use to be pretty competitive in the past. Do you know what engine it has?
3.4 impala v6
@@donaldjcourtemanche6199 wow, now thats interesting, need to boost it and itll definitely pull with the built v8s with the right tire, that thing is quick as it is.
i'd love to see some exotic European cars there
Working on that lol not many are willing to make the risk
You've had one. A very exotic Golf 😁
I havent seen that dude in the Cherokee launch that thing successfully one time.
Did he spool the anti-lag on that last lap?
🤫
👀
I'd love to see John Johnson the son drive Glassmans old camaro instead of his brothers camaro.
He drove it for one race against the blazer in the last video I uploaded, he’s got his own project car that he’ll be racing next show !

Inside line needs to start 15 to 20 feet back to make it a fair.
Do u need a license 2 race?
Yes you need to be 18 with a license, car must be registered as well
Booooooo LOL
The LS1 Camaro lost to the LT1 camaro 😆
Yeah, it can happen from time to time, those old lt1s can be built up pretty well if you sink some money in.
Vette needs a driver mod
A night of heavy hitters
They need two laps.
Hmm, Johnson needs a new hobby, let the slower cars have some fun, loved that Mazda MX-3 btw!
i cant be the only one who thinks this flagging is pretty lame. not all of the drivers are even set before the starting flag is waved on some of these races.
They have lights the flag waving is a little kid
More door wedges.
this angle is bad, and it makes the track look small
These races are becoming too predictable. kinda boring watching camaros and tbirds dominate every race lol
I didn't see any T Birds
Mr Mackenzie Stevenson is the mvp out here
Kill the music
Who's driving that VW?!? Take their keys and give them a honda civic, embarrassing
Lot of catfish out there.

Been that way for ever why wouldn’t you want to run what works ?

Bring your car and show them how it's done. In other words "Shut up and Race!"
