That's the story for sure. Crashed in my first week too. On a 125cc - on congested city roads. Happened two more times since then: car turned right into the middle on the road, taxi pulled in when I was about to overtake on the right, I hit a wing mirror going 25 mph and wobbled into the ground. Main thing in these semi-slow accidents, is the bike will land on your ankle. Now the two times this happened on my 125kg 180cc, this hurt. On a liter bike, you could lose your legs.
