Let me just say that you never disappoint with the sheaths Joe. I’ve already carried this knife with the new sheath and it lays very flat against my hip and I love it. You guys look no further for your sheath maker. He’s made several for me and probably more to come! Thanks Joe!!

Nice overview of the knife and sheaths. I spent hours researching an edc fixed blade that fit my requirements and budget and settled on this SOG in orange on sale at bladehq for about $100. I haven't received it yet but am hopeful it will fit the bill. I have been making kydex sheaths for over 16 years so no worries if the stock one doesn't work for me. Hope to try horizontal appendix carry.

Your video just hit my feed and I like your stuff. Quick, to the point and praise you for having a good microphone which can be lacking on others’ videos. 😊

At 100$ it’s good competition for the Esee S35VN model 3 . While I’d prefer a taco sheath for the low profile that sheath is sweet .

For sure. It's surprising that a pancake is actually more versatile. For example, I would mount this on the front of my chest rig, so for that you want those hard plastic molle attachments, which work better with a pancake sheath. Taco only has eyelets on the edge side, which is sometimes weird for mounting hard attachments. I love the tacos for certain knives, but they only really work with soft loops in scout. Just an epiphany I had while making sheaths a couple years back. Kind of the same thing happens with one of my mechanisms. I carry the Shield Plus for personal use. The holster I like is really small, but I print more with it. The wider crossbreed holster I have however, has a claw and two carry clips. It's wider and more of a pain to put on, but the shield disappears. Weird how that works sometimes.
Anyway, Thanks for tuning in bud! I didn't even consider comparing this to an esee 3...

Yeah, I dont shop at Blade HQ because I had a very strong passcode and when I ordered the account or something got hacked. Then I did a little research and saw the company got hacked in the past. I go to other places now.

How much would you charge for a Moro companion knife kydex sheath?

I have to disagree. There are much better knives out there for $150.

For sure, but I found this one for $97 which makes it fairly compelling. I wouldn't pay $150 for it though either...
