I don't know why you guys have such a harsh feeling for majority of us. Yes during this Corona period there have been some cases which were really shameful.But the thing that was common in all of them was that they were all uneducated a hence uncivilized. Let alone northeast ask them about Uttarakhand or Himachal they'd fail. Maybe you guys expect so much from us because you come from a relatively civilized region. I'm not justifying it but trying to convey that us civilized non northeasterns would never do this to you. I dont know why you blame all of us for this. We are proud to have such diversity in our country.
Also it's not that we don't think you don't exist, it's just that we don't know about that place. If you tell us that you are from NE we'd recognize you. And to be brutally honest if you don't tell us where you are from we won't be able to differentiate between a Korean, Japanese or a northeastern because we don't generally see them often here so we don't know the differences in their look in detail.

I think not having internet in Mechuka is a good thing..I know internet will bring development + many tourist and people will be able to know about Mechuka and its beauty more..but Mechuka is the perfect place to get lost from the busy lives of the cities..no internet, no disturbance, a perfect serene place to live in.And not having internet ,make us more grateful about the beauty of the nature . Makes us live outside of our mobile phones and appreciate the good thing and good people around us.
Yes so true when i visit my grandparents place btw im from assam, NE there also internet is too slow and lame its almost not possible to watch something but i can assure you.. If you go there its gonna your best part of life..!

Hi Lenzing, the real life in Mechuka is hardship and the people don't complain. Thanks for bringing out the realities in our border state. But it is time that GOI must take some serious view of the difficulties faced by the locals and provide them all-weather roads, electricity, internet and other conveniences, else they will be forgotten by the main stream and will be left to manipulation by Chinese. The 400 year old manuscripts in the Gompa must be preserved and digitized. More attention must be paid to these border villages and we living in cities can definitely forego some of the comforts that we take them for granted. Some of the comments made that internet wont be necessary so as to preserve the pristine nature of the place. By not providing them these amenities, the locals get isolated, which is not good for the security of the Nation. Preserve the Border, Integrity and Culture, but provide all the modern facilities. Yes during this Corona period there have been some cases which were really shameful.But the thing that was common in all of them was that they were all uneducated a hence uncivilized. Let alone northeast ask them about Uttarakhand or Himachal they'd fail. Maybe you guys expect so much from us because you come from a relatively civilized region. I'm not justifying it but trying to convey that us civilized non northeasterns would never do this to you. I dont know why you blame all of us for this. We are proud to have such diversity in our country.
Also it's not that we don't think you don't exist, it's just that we don't know about that place. If you tell us that you are from NE we'd recognize you.
And to be brutally honest if you don't tell us where you are from we won't be able to differentiate between a Korean, Japanese or a northeastern because we don't generally see them often here so we don't know the differences in their look in detail.

I think not having internet in Mechuka is a good thing..I know internet will bring development + many tourist and people will be able to know about Mechuka and its beauty more..but Mechuka is the perfect place to get lost from the busy lives of the cities..no internet, no disturbance, a perfect serene place to live in.And not having internet ,make us more grateful about the beauty of the nature . Makes us live outside of our mobile phones and appreciate the good thing and good people around us.

I had found out that because I had done some research on my surname and found out that my ancestors had apparently migrated from there long back. Hi Lenzing, the real life in Mechuka is hardship and the people don't complain. Thanks for bringing out the realities in our border state. But it is time that GOI must take some serious view of the difficulties faced by the locals and provide them all-weather roads, electricity, internet and other conveniences, else they will be forgotten by the main stream and will be left to manipulation by Chinese. The 400 year old manuscripts in the Gompa must be preserved and digitized. More attention must be paid to these border villages and we living in cities can definitely forego some of the comforts that we take them for granted. Some of the comments made that internet wont be necessary so as to preserve the pristine nature of the place. By not providing them these amenities, the locals get isolated, which is not good for the security of the Nation. Preserve the Border, Integrity and Culture, but provide all the modern facilities. Ma'am in arunachal the common language to communicate among different tribes is hindi only. They don't have a common language of their own, so not a big thing I guess 😁. His is better than any other arunachali though.
