    I am so glad for what you have presented in these videos in Acts. This is the first time I have understood Paul. I've always had difficulty following his speech from one sentence to another - stopping frequently to figure it out, scratch my head then giving up. Thank you for helping me to see what a mighty disciple of Jesus Christ he was, how tenacious he was in his devotion to Jesus. I love seeing how these wicked men who fought against Christ - Saul who became Paul, Alma the younger and the sons of Mosiah, received miraculous conversions and became even more devout and faithful to Christ than they were to the falsehoods they once believed. These are powerful proofs that Christ lives and His doctrines are true. No one - not anyone - who has been changed so dramatically from the evil they formerly lived and believed has denied what the Holy Ghost has revealed to them. If the gospel wasn't true, no one would ever suffer or give their lives for it. Thanks so very much for your amazing and clear insights.

    I have actually been thinking about my own journey- not only 48 years a conversion in progress, but almost 4 years now tuning into Taylor and Tyler. It reminds me of Philip asking the Ethiopian man if he understands what he is reading. He responded, " how can I except some man should guide me." Taylor and Tyler are doing just that for me. Thank you brethren. I love your insights. I don't mind the long lessons at all...in fact, I'd like to hear more personal stories added on.

    Simply amazing stuff. Thank you for delivering this lesson so well. Wow, Paul covered a huge area, I am totally blown away. This is inspiring. For someone who did not have access to transport options of the wealthy, he still managed to get around. He is a well seasoned traveler, according to me. I applaud and take my hat off to Paul and the amazing missionaries who journeyed with him.
    I am so amazed that he had the courage to introduce and teach the concept of one God to Polytheistic nations. There are so many profound insights in the story of Paul.
    I love the prison experience story and the wisdom he displayed in the decision not to disclose the national identity of him and Silas. Paul is a very fascinating disciple. I really hope he had some funny moments and laughs amongst the challenges. I find all the early missionaries fascinating.
    I just love what Bro Halverson said about the misuse of the power of God, and I love interaction with the demon lol. It's quite hilarious. I also love the point Bro Griffin raised about how the adversary always leaves ppl exposed and vulnerable. There are so many examples of this truth in the scriptures. It's so true, at the end of the day, the destination is always misery with the adversary.
    I love the beautiful insight shared at the end by Bro Halverson about journeys.
    Thank you, Bro Halverson and Bro Griffin. You are both phenomenal teachers. It's been a challenge lately with time to keep up with all the lessons. I'm still here trying. Thank you, everyone, at SC. You are all beautiful angels ❤️.

    These long and arduous missions of Paul, bring this quote to my mind. from Neil A Maxwell "A brightness of hope"
    He said, " Unsurprisingly the triad of Faith, hope and charity, which brings us to Christ, has strong and converging linkage; faith is the lord Jesus Christ, hope is in the Attonement and Charity is the "pure love of Christ" "
    I believe we can increase in this perfect Faith. we must trust the Lord Jesus christ. As paul did. who sent him out by the spirit. Jesus Christ will also send us "out" and we too like Paul must needs have this Faith to trust the Lord to give us direction, even to where he will send us.
    Paul Hoped in redemtion. his own... which was a great mirical bytheway, and that this same redemtive message could save others. but this Hope was coupled with Charity. He must needs have this Love for his neigbor. Through loving others as our Father in Heaven loves us, it compeled him forward. and so we must have this exceeding Faith in order to go out and serve him. We see Faith, Hope, and Charity are working together in compelling ministry.

    • @scripturecentralofficial
      @scripturecentralofficial  Рік тому +1

      We love that quote from Elder Neil A. Maxwell, and it really captures the essence of Paul's ministry. As you pointed out, Paul's life and example demonstrate the power of faith, hope, and charity working together. When we have faith in Jesus Christ, hope in the Atonement, and embrace charity, or the pure love of Christ, we can find strength, direction, and purpose in our lives just as Paul did.
      Paul's conversion and missionary journeys are a great example of how one can be completely transformed by trusting the Lord Jesus Christ and following the promptings of the Spirit. His dedication, faith, hope, and love for others allowed him to successfully share the Gospel and touch the lives of many people.
      As we apply these principles of faith, hope, and charity in our own lives, we too can experience the inspiration, guidance, and motivation that come from a deep and abiding relationship with the Savior. This will help us not only in our own spiritual journey, but also in our efforts to share the message of redemption and love with others around us. 😊

      ***27 But behold, it was not so; but it was appointed unto men that they must die; and after death, they must come to judgment, even that same judgment of which we have spoken, which is the end.
      28 And after God had appointed that these things should come unto man, behold, then he saw that it was expedient that man should know concerning the things whereof he had appointed unto them;
      ***29 Therefore he sent angels to converse with them, who caused men to behold of his glory.
      30 And they began from that time forth to call on his name; therefore God conversed with men, and made known unto them the plan of redemption, which had been prepared from the foundation of the world; and this he made known unto them according to their faith and repentance and their holy works.
      ***31 Wherefore, he gave commandments unto men, they having first transgressed the first commandments as to things which were temporal, and becoming as gods, knowing good from evil, placing themselves in a state to act, or being placed in a state to act according to their wills and pleasures, whether to do evil or to do good-
      32 Therefore God gave unto them commandments, after having made known unto them the plan of redemption, that they should not do evil, the penalty thereof being a second death, which was an everlasting death as to things pertaining unto righteousness; for on such the plan of redemption could have no power, for the works of justice could not be destroyed, according to the supreme goodness of God.
      33 But God did call on men, in the name of his Son, (this being the plan of redemption which was laid) saying: If ye will repent, and harden not your hearts, then will I have mercy upon you, through mine Only Begotten Son;
      ***34 Therefore, whosoever repenteth, and hardeneth not his heart, he shall have claim on mercy through mine Only Begotten Son, unto a remission of his sins; and these shall enter into my rest.

    What is the parthenon and pantheon?

    • @scripturecentralofficial
      @scripturecentralofficial  Рік тому +3

      The Parthenon and Pantheon are both ancient buildings with historical and architectural significance. We're happy to provide a brief description of each! 😊
      The Parthenon: The Parthenon is an ancient Greek temple dedicated to the goddess Athena. It was built between 447 and 438 BC on the Athenian Acropolis, a high rocky outcrop in Athens, Greece. It is one of the most important examples of Classical Greek architecture, and it has inspired many other structures in Western architecture.
      The Pantheon: The Pantheon is an ancient Roman building located in Rome, Italy. It was completed around 126 AD during the reign of Roman Emperor Hadrian. The Pantheon is well known for its unique architectural features, particularly its large circular dome with an oculus (a central opening to the sky). Originally a temple dedicated to all the gods of pagan Rome, it was later converted into a Christian church and now serves as a popular tourist attraction.

    What do you think happens to a woman when she has a male evil spirit possessing her? What do you think happens to a man when a female evil spirit inhabits him? This might explain much of the LGBTQ2SIA+ craziness that we have today. (Acts 16:16-18)

    • @FOTOFOTA
      @FOTOFOTA Рік тому

      And how do you determine there are male and female uncleaned spirits?

    • @ComeFollowScripture
      @ComeFollowScripture Рік тому

      @@FOTOFOTA Acts 16:18 (which I referenced above) tells us that Paul said, "I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour." Clearly we have a male spirit possessing a female mortal person; I am sure this happens all the time today. We see the scriptures making a distinction between devils and unclean spirits (1 Nephi 11:31). The devils are the ones that were cast out from the pre-existence with satan, and the unclean spirits are the wicked people that have lived on the earth, and then died and now do the bidding of satan; they are in bondage. This is spelled out in multiple places in the scriptures - you just have to search it out and then listen to the spirit to see what revelation he will give you.
