- My thoughts on the Sprime PM1, a g703 inspired 45g mouse that really exceeded my expectations. My unit is pretty mindblowing in terms of quality and weight. It was clearly designed by people who understand mice. I'll make an updated vid when I get a batch 1 unit

$120 USD is a bit too high for me but might check it out if they drop the price to around $100 down the line.

@@MoisesKBM .. On the flip side, have you ever known a first batch to be problem free?! Trust me they'll make more and batch 2 will be better. For Finalmouse ULX it took 3 batches.

logtiech is really sleeping on the g703 shape , they need to release its successor with latest specs , dont know whats happening to these mouse companies why they not releasing new lineup of products
i had always wanted a g703 lightweight version but had always just settles for lightweight ambi mouse and i find out about this just days after i order a new one 😐

I aim well with the GPX but wish for a G703 super light. This could be a nice marriage of the two. I love the flat right side that the g703 has and the more flat hump. I’m going into my copy thinking of it as a GPX with the shape profile of a g703. Hope it doesn’t disappoint
based on eloshapes the pm1 is even smaller than the OGM. And what I just noticed that is really weird is, I digged out my old g403 and swapped off from heavily using the OGM and my g403 feels overall smaller than even the OGM which as I said is a tad bigger than this prime. It's weird. I think the height (including the higher buttons, the overall heights) and how slim the overall back hump of the g403/703 feels makes it feel much much smaller and slimmer than it actually is. For me it feels just right so I think if it's even smaller than the OGM I guess this is way too small for me even if I only have medium hands. The original g703 shape is just right in all aspects. Literally. They should've truly copied the shape 1:1 see how it that one sells, a shape people already know and like just lighter and then maybe see if people wanna try a smaller version and not right away go with a much smaller version. That seems like Shrouds g303 remake fail to me

@@Azrael32 yeah those seem to be pretty similar to mechanicals in terms of click and sound. I just dont know why almost nobody uses them. Instead they use the trash Raesha switches
@@OneDollaBill yeah the only optical switches I like is the omron, the rest of them are trash(including razer's implementation)
@@Azrael32 most definitely agree. As far as i know Razer uses some binned Raesha opticals too, same ones that are in Thorn, Xlite v3 and lots of others that use opticals.
im still waiting on a g703 clone, this shape looks too small for me. but definetely looks like a solid mouse
They just changed the bottom plate to transparent and the color of the sprime logo to red instead of white on the black version. Preordered it before they made the changes and now I'm starting to hate the look of the mouse.

yo big b, what do you think about doing a scrollwheel roundup? i just got a gpx sl2 and it really makes me miss my mx anywhere 3 for productivity use. been watching a lot of mouse vids recently, and you seem to be the guy on top of the game, and i'm kinda starting to think there is no hope but to go for a two mouse setup...
What are you looking for in a wheel? You can swap the encoder.
@@entsfps an easier scroll, that's for sure. In a perfect world I would rip out the whole scroll wheel assembly from some mx because once you get used to magspeed everything else is kinda bunk. But that's going to need more than a dremel and a soldering iron i guess... Infinite scroll mouses maybe? In any case, I will order some replacement skates and scout out the insides of the mouse for encoder replacement. Thanks for the tip!

@@bobmaaliis the sl2 scroll wheel really effortless to scroll with or no? I was gonna get that or deathadder v3 pro but can't decide which. I just returned a razer pro click mini as it needed to much force to scroll compared to my old mx master 2s and felt unnatural

Sprime PM1 has much lower button height relative to its back hump then the GPX.
It's that bad philosophy that leads to your fingers being too curled and therefore limits your microadjustment capabilities.
I guess the confusion comes at the point where this mouse is shorter and the back hump is worse.
@@rhyvehr I have the mice in hand and if you think the PM1s button height is going to feel much lower than a GPX or that you'll have to curl your fingers significantly more you're mistaken. Compared to a g703 yeah itll feel much smaller. Just get a lamzu thorn if you want high button height lmao

Under rated mouse. If you can handle it's length it's a banger - top tier performance for clicks and tracking. Don't load armoury crate software however. Resource hog always running and difficult to uninstall. ✅

It might be older and foreign (korea), but the Xenics Titan GT Air Wireless is a great ergo mouse. 67g but i think it's better than the Roccat KPA. Still a 3395 sensor too.
All these new mice seem to be missing the very useful top DPI button, because all mice companies also seem to think everyone plays fortnite or COD when they don't. Time to write them and ask them what's up and see why they keep doing DPI button users dirty like this

@@xythiera7255 I use it all the time, every day, all day. They wouldn't have put it there for no reason if it wasn't usable - in fact only recently they started removing. And, if you work in any kind of digital art, you NEED a DPI you can actually reach instead of flipping a mouse over constantly.
The only thing I don't like about the g703, other than the weight, is that damn dpi button. Too easy to accidentally press in game after using the scroll wheel.
