- At the end of there is an instrumental inferno, I'm not quite sure, but I think it's an excerpt from "The Warning".
Recorded live at Casino de Montreux, Montreux, Switzerland on 31st August 1970.
Answers to questions from a few comments:
1.I will upload rest of the Montreaux show, as soon as i find time...
2. I will buy the Sabotage deluxe edition, with a show from the 1975 US tour, probably in July, so if no one puts this show on YT, I'll try to do it.
This is the stuff right here I cut my teeth on , use to air guitar these early Sabbath tunes standing on the edge of my bed , like I was on stage lol I was like 7 to 8 years old back then in like 73/74 my uncle had a killer record collection and let me borrow albums back then , I'd have to say he influenced me on what to listen too as well , I've been a ROCKER my whole life too!!!!
A Great Song!! My favorite on the Album!!🍻🍻💀🍺🍺🍺🍺💀
Thx for uploading! Really enjoy these early sabbath recordings
The jazzy part at the end is a part of the song but was cut from the studio album because Rodger Bain thought it didn't fit in
@Sean Kent i wish there was a live LP with high quality sound from this early era with endless jams. They were insane live in these years the songs are even better than studio
3:40 to3:57 sounds like an early attempt at the bridge in Electric Funeral.
Really?
Chilled and numb from head to toe... icy sun with frosty glow... words of glory to your sorrows.. word of glory no tomorrow!!!! Now who wouldn't want that said at their funeral??? I want this song played after my cremation.
My go to version of this song, just completely ruins the studio cut.
