Thanks for the video. I just wanted to add my .02 cents on some additional tips. 1. Tape of the area 2. Use a heat gun to 'loosen' the adhesive 3. Use a microfiber towel and small screwdriver to give you a small opening and then insert the trim removal tool 4.Once removed, use the GooGone like in the video 5. If you have some finishing car polish, use a small applicator to clean the paint. 6. Clean with alcohol or dish washing soap to clean up oil. 7. Install new emblem Hopes this helps. Big thanks to video
Legend. Good work. Same thing happened to my sh1tty South African made e70 BMW. The BMW disk just fell off one day. Bought a replacement badge off eBay around 5 years ago. Now that's looking all sh1tty so have got the whole badge replacement including the chrome part shown in this video. It should have been a sign of things to come when even the plastic badge falls off a goddam car. So many issues with what could have been a great car if it'd been made in Germany and not south Africa.
thanks for the video. I wasn't sure I got the right part, but you confirmed it, since I had the same problem with the front part only fell off. Now to attempt the crowbar style removal... I hate the fact that this is just glued on ;)

Bit of fishing wire or similar to cut through the glue. Before prying off. 👍

Should have used a screwdriver, it’s the best for destroying your paint 😂👍🏻
Much appreciated!! :)
Could i please get a link to that piece? Or what it's actually called by bmw. I'm needing to replace on my f15
Where did you purchase the rear emblem?
Is it the same size as the front emblem?
Thank you
Np
Hey bro what’s the sizes front snd boot ?
Did your original got stolen?
You removed it but now you have many scratches in the paint all around the emblem so in my opinion the way you did it, is a bad example.
U can use a rag to prevent scratches
