Those Dreamers have really caught my eye!
We bought an autosleeper warwick xl bootifull 9speed fiat auto. Suit you both perfectly.xxxx
Very nice! I've heard really great things about that 9 speed auto box! Enjoy it !
Sorry to hear you are moving on from the VW California Ocean, I will miss your superb videos! Agreed VW and also Mercedes Benz should be showing at the NEC as OEM alternatives to the many different converts :)
high top vans are hard to park for every day use as we found out and we have a T6 pop top now so we can park in most car parks
That ford based van with the L shaped kitchen has been done before, look at the Autocruise Jazz. And the bed is much better in the Jazz 🤔
Loving my lazer lamps, definitely worth the investment.
love these types of videos, mabye youll get some inspiration from this for your next van or even something else 😲
That's the plan!
As the owner of a Hillside Birchover for 8.5 years, I'm a big fan of the quality of Hillside's vans, and I really like the Hopton. But I've got to say that the Dirty Weekender MAN van is my favourite van of the show. It's stunning. I have van envy even though I have a very nice van!
The DW van is fantastic and that grey wrap on it 😍
That was great to see , there were items I would bring into a build . VW yes crafter no . But some very versatile ideas . Getting ideas from people who do is a gift . 👍❤️
Love the Sven 🤦🏻♂ the dirty weekender is Uber cool, the Ford a pretty good layout too. Cheers 🍻
Hi Sarah and will ,I have the Lazer lamps on my t6.1 swomper aswell as the factory LED head lights and the Lazer lamps are on a different level. I also have the matching 52 in curved LED roof bar to really improve things even further. I have also had the Lazer lamps utility 25 Lamps fitted to the rear of the vehicle on the roof to really improve night time reversing. I have had them wired up to a separate switch but my god they are super bright. Expensive but well worth the money 🤟
They look so cool !
Enjoyed walking round the show and was surprised at how many vw’s were there but not an actual vw dealer. We also ended up buying the Glawning demo model to use with our T5
V Nice! They really are lovely aren't they!
Thanks for the video guys, the most innovative product I’ve seen at the show you sadly didn’t feature, and that’s the en-suite2go, potentially a real game changer for small van owners.
We actually saw that very late on and I think we were half asleep at that point. From my faint memory of them they did look good 👍
Thanks for showing the Murvi! Think that will be my next van….eventually!!
Good choice!
I love the Hopton, it's my dream van!
It's so well built - lovely bit of kit!
We had a great show this year as the pressure of choosing a van is lifted. we really enjoyed the camping area some amazing gear there! You sure that saying VW s drive best isn’t a bit like choosing a vintage champagne over the £10 Prosecco then preferring the Prosecco in a blind fold test? Not saying anyone should drive blindfold BTW! 😂
Glad you had a great show - it must be nice to have a relaxed walk round... ahh we remember those days!
Where the heck do you get your energy from?! Very impressed with the stamina and "fresh look" on each van. We must all remember to buy a Lottery ticket.... I WANT that MAN too!! Many thanks. Now go and have that tea for two.... All the best. Love, Pam
Red Bull !
@@CampervanTime xx !!
Brilliant video guys, following on from the Grand California series you've just done. We are also seeking a Crafter / Man. Just missed you on Saturday.
Thanks! Sorry we didn't meet you, maybe next time!
Hi both
Good yo meet you at the show
I betting on you getting a MAN
Lets see!
Indeed - let's see.... Great to meet you too!
Interesting... having had 2 small, old, fiat vans for work, then a fiat doblo I can agree... stay away from Fiat. One gets what one pays for. Currently our T6.1 is being fitted out here in France, come spring we'll be off... 8-)
Great video, very VW biased wink wink 🙂 Love the customers MAN van, awesome that one
Yes very VW/MAN focussed this time, given our thought processes it seemed fitting..
We have a 2019 VW Crafter IH conversion and have had zero problems with it mechanically - it’s a dream to drive. The only irritation is making up the bed and very mediocre insulation. We like the rear lounge layout and are looking for an upgrade - none of the above seem to do it, are there any other Crafter converters out there?
Those lights do look cool. What was the problem with now the Fiat vans drive? Anything specific?
Great look around - thank you - all the best, David & Rachel 👍
Fiat vans - well they drive like a van, which is ok because they are, but then when you drive a Crafter/MAN TGE you get the sense that you're driving a large Golf. Much more car like / refined in pretty much all respects.
Dirty Weekender van was my favorite, didn’t see a price on it though or did I miss it.
No we didn't either - sorry
Is the Grey converted van yours? 🤫 was that a hint 😬😀
😆 you'll have to wait and see !
Not a fan of Brandrup stuff. They use way too much velcro on their screens, window covers etc. Magnets are much better solution.
Not going to lie . The VW/ MAN Are crappie. I have a crafter for work . And it's been so unreliable. EGR cooler . Pistons controls. Fuel pump . Injectors . Turbo. Must have spent 20k on repairs ..
Ouch, that's not good. We'd be looking to try to secure a long warranty on whatever we go for to try to safeguard against any of this for as long as possible. Sorry you've had so much trouble.
@California Time 107k . Full service history. In that 20k . 4.5k biturbo . And the service at vw ain't much better . I work in the motor industry. People are aye paying a premium for something not fit for purpose. It drives great when it's running. Just not reliable engine wise .
Overpriced a poor reliability, it's more about the click than the van I'm afraid.
