Thanks, Will, Sarah and Roxy for another lovely video. Exhibitors at the shows are very similar, once you've been to a few. We went to Camperjam for the day earlier this month. We had a great day, met California Chris, and bought a new windbreak ( red with campervans, VW product). We'll take a rest now on shows, maybe until next year 😊 Hope you get your new Sven Hedin soon. Big fan of our flagpole - use to find the van in a busy field but also to have our Durham and Argentine flags on to let the southerners know we not one of them 😂. Nice to see a small “mooch” show like this, in better weather good for a day out, even if buying nothing.
'Mooch Show' is a good description of it, I like that!!
I thought the positioning of the stove in the Adria was poor with the bench seat right beside it to inhibit access and catch all the spills and fat spits from cooking. It may have two side doors but these only compromised the kitchen ergonomics.
Definitely get a campervan time custom flag and a decent flagpole - rigid to about 8’ then you use the flagpole to fit your 4G/5G aerial. Something for you both.

We have the Pro version of the windbreak it’s three panel but each is longer so same length as standard four panel. Unlike the standard one it only needs slot in poles at each end. We use it for the same reason creating a quiet place for our border collie. We set it in an L against the van forming approx 1.65m x 3.3 m area. They are fantastic but the pro is the tougher product , heavier fabric.

You can still buy a GTI UP but they close the books occasionally. I should have bought one at 12k during covid, was on at the local dealership. I did get the 90ps Tsi tho
and it's probably my favourite car ever. :-)
I really need to have a go in the GTI of it, heard so many great things :)
I think more builders will move to Renault Traffics as similar in size to current Transit.

Once again, this time with the Adria Active, trying to improve upon the only layout that works in a VW size van and failing miserably, with half the storage, small sized fridge and miniscule sink and only one burner and the price ?
After we finished filming we were trying to figure out who this is actually aimed at. Days out (why have a bed then?), camping trips, where's the storage? It's like we were missing something. We're going to try and take a proper look at one of these to understand it better and figure it out!
Mine has one burner and a microwave and I haven't a sink at all. That's what I need and that's what I specified. Everyone's requirements are different. In my opinion, most people overspecify their vans/motorhomes. Why lug around enough stuff in your great white whale (which won't fit down a country road) to make a Dubai hotel look spartan and then use all the facilities on the camp site? I see people doing it all the time.
Adria Active has very little accessible storage, work surface and an unrealistic price tag.
