Can you just clarify the size of the boot - which I believe is variable because of the sliding rear seat. In your video you say 270lt, on the specification details which were put up today by Smart they say 411 to 421 depending on model - although previously they’ve told me 311lt. Perhaps you could clarify what the volume is with rear pushed all the way back and all the way forwards and how much leg room the rear passengers get? Thanks
It depends on the version you have as the Premium and Brabus have the sound booster in the low part of the boot which takes some room actually! Boot is small on upper part only for 3 people and okay when removed and standard when seats are slided at maximum to the front. Still plenty room for legs anyway. This car is close to perfection!
Hi Kevin. We've checked the figures. The minimum storage 273 litres and you can slide the seats forward 13cm for maximum storage of 411 litres. With the seats folded down, the capacity is 986 litres. Hope that helps. Thanks for your question.

We thought so too, but we spoke to the people at smart just to make sure we got everything right. It really is called the 'smart hashtag one'.

Don't knock the Smart heritage. They were simple cheap and small. Unlike modern cars.
