I have been doing this, sampling from my mobile to my OP-1/ I have infinite samples on the go :) i create sample on the Koala app, loop and record it on to my op-1
just got an sk-1 myself and having a lot of fun with it. was wondering if you also experience a weird 'thump' sound at the start of samples? trying to work out if it's an issue or just something to be expected with the sk-1, and whether there might a way around it. i'm using it mainly with a looper and some fx pedals for lofi ambient jams and i'm finding that 'thump' or 'thud' noise really builds up and gets annoying after a while!
It’s actually from when you release the button and it picks it up as part of the recording. You can press it very gently or after use the envelope curve at the start to soften it

Nice trick. But I would sample it directly from Caustic (from phone).

You can adjust the envelope curve on the SK-1.. that may help get rid of that initial attack thump.
Switch type of envelope. Default one has this "thump".
