I'm glad that Andrew wasn't hurt and is back in the saddle. I'm sure it shook him up a bit. We have narrow ass roads like that here too. Shit happens, glad it turned out ok.
Hello from WI Andy and family I’ve said it before I’ll say it again you and your operation amazes me always plus like you I’m a large grain farmer with a 9500 only and a massive 20’ header and I thought it was just me that couldn’t hit the cart on the first or eighth time and I don’t even hold a camera or share on a channel with the world YoU ROCK 👍
I grew up operating a John deere 70 diesel 720 diesel and a 4020 open station tractors. I still have the tractors today. Still do some field work with them today
Tks for sharing. Miss Sarah kinda looked like you was bleeding the brakes. ON..OFF... pump.. Down... Pump..lol. I know Andy you would never let any of your children do anything that would put them in Danger. Andrew is growing in to a man..and he would never do nothing not safe..
Andy, we would troubleshoot broken wires in looms like that by grabbing them with both hands and pull. If it's broken, the insulation will pull apart, then you know for sure. Don't pull hard enough to break an unbroken wire though. Using a meter takes too long, isn't always conclusive, and wastes time. Good luck.🚜
I think it identifies as a raccoon today. Looked like the guy had plenty of room to get over more. Back when I was a kid the farmers I worked for always said to take your space and don’t move. Let them run into the ditch. Those words of advice wouldn’t go over well nowadays.
An Insurance Agent said to accommodate the best you can, but NEVER wave anyone by, because if they screw up, they can blame you. I have had local Sheriff's Department get behind me and turn on lights, but not to pass, just provide a buffer. ONCE.
When I was a kid, all we had were open station tractors, Jr is lucky. When it comes to yields, I know there's a math formula one can do to set the calibration but, maybe I'm wrong but, once you got it set you're good to go. That was a raccoon Andy. Well, it's good to see that some people understand hand language and know to slow down and move over. It's good to know that Jr wasn't hurt in that accident. If more kids worked and did like what yours do, there would be a lot less "farm accidents" that involve the younger generation(s). Great video as always, cheers :)
Sometimes I watch n think wow what a legend and other times I watch and think what on earth is this guy smoking or injecting in his arm. What a roller coaster of a human to follow.
Great video andy and crew your hand looks nice in the video and we would miss it if it was not in the video lol. Glad andrew was ok after his roller accident it was clearly the truck drivers fault, thanks for the video andy.
Its great that you take pride in the saftey of not only your kids but the other employees as i know how dangerous it can be driving farm equipment on country roads Andrew's an excellent young man its a shame that happend to him to him but he has bounced back which is great keep up the good work.
My dad wouldn't let me ride on or operate open station tractors until I was like 13 I know the feeling Andrew lol. God I love when you "tickle the algorithm" haha
Great video, love seeing the family working together as a team, and as for loosing 3 hours with an error I’ve lost a day trying to track an electrical fault and still has to call an electrical engineer, he found the fault in seconds which made me feel like a real dumb ass, he said it was just luck but I know he said that to save my embarrassment.
Looks like it was a nice day for 2-up riding on country roads on a motorcycle. Wish I was there. You get all the smells of farming even with a full face helmet. And that 13 curve section probably sees a few motorcycles too.
It does HAPPEN SIR,straw walker stops up Tight 😢😢. It happened with soybeans and was a nice after noons job. Thanks again guys and gals for the videos.
That definitely was a raccoon running. That was a terrible wreck, and I can see where that could happen anywhere in America. Even the people here in Missouri can't seem to stay in their own lane. Last year as we were traveling on highway 32 a John Deere tractor mowing along the road came to a curve and a semi hauling boats decided to move over too far and almost hit us head on, if it weren't for the fact my wife judged the situation correctly.
I started running a 65 4020 in 1966. I was 12 yrs old. Dad had a 45 and 2 95s combines. The second 95 had a straw chopper. The drive chain broke. It filled the back of that 95 up with soy bean stalks. Have the armadillos go to your area yet?
my kids are no different with our old open station tractors it's funny when we were kids we begged to drive the big tractors with cabs now our kids are old enough to drive tractors they beg to drive the open stations
That pickup looked cool with the color. @38:38 To flashy for myself. *Funny backpack Sarah. ;D Do like the design features from St Joseph's Catholic Church, if i am correct its in the area. Those small roads - got to take it easy.
Where I worked as a after school boy was the same with me running the cabless tractor's as they where front end loaders too. 5000 and 7000 fords handling round bales and spud box's so I always got the near new 6610 with cab for feeding out before school and the tw 25 for field work after school. That only lasted 2yrs as I ended up taller then the boss by time I was 12 😂 could do most of the tractor work by then except for the drilling and mouldboard ploughing.
I think you should look into a wireless microphone for your camera. Clip it on your shirt and then you can put the camera down, use two hands for driving and we’d still hear you. Probably wouldn’t work if you were wrenching something but might be perfect anytime you are in a combine or tractor. Just a thought.
Accidents are not nice, But we learn from them even when its not our fault. At my age and experience on the tight English roads, I some how know what moves others make before they do. and many times its the opposite to what they signal. Glad he ok and not any serious equipment damage.
Growing up ,a friend of mine's little sister was riding on an open tractor with her dad,and fell off into a hay crimper! She lost her arm from the accident.Never slowed her down ,but her dad never lived it down.
Doesn't matter what the critters name was, but it was hauling A. Racoon, Fisher, Otter, or something else. It found hi gear! As to yield monitor, you calibrate it at start of the crop season and don't mess with it. Whether raw numbers are correct is irrelevant, the numbers you get will be consistent. And you better evaluate the wheat varieties asap, because it won't be long before you have to order seed. Like you don't know that already...😂😂😂
Andy the hand thong is you being you! It’s a form of expression so to the sucky one 👎 I’ll be nice . That where a raccoon running 🤔 or the lil 💩 playing with the wire ? Great vid a bit purple in spots 😅lets keep it real like ya do and all is good . Oh yeah ouch Charlie 😂😂
Dang shame about Camilus knife company going to china. They made some of the best pocket knives in the USA. I try to pick up the old camilus trappers stockmans barlows when i see them at yardsales fleemarkets etc.
Loved the purple truck reference. Got to pay attention to what comedy may come out of the daily farming videos
38:34 He sneaks them in there😏
@@RobertWilliams-mk8pl indeed he does. As a diligent viewer I think Andy has a awesome demeanor an personality, with a dry sense of humor.
Yeah that was perfect !!!!
I was gonna make the same

I like all the explanations you give. Makes this farm boy want to here more. It looked like a small raccoon running. Thanks for the info.
I thought it was just a scruffy looking racoon. It had a ringed tail and a racoon is about the only animal native to that area with a ringed tail.
Nothing gets Andy flaired up like talking yeald numbers. Haha
Hearing your repeated "On or Off" I was getting flashbacks of watching Columbo reruns during Sunday lunch with my dad.
Good job Andy and family
Great that no serious injuries happened with Andrew or the other driver great video as always Andy keep up the great work
Sarah is truly the farmers daughter 😍😂
I'm glad that Andrew wasn't hurt and is back in the saddle. I'm sure it shook him up a bit. We have narrow ass roads like that here too. Shit happens, glad it turned out ok.
Sarah is awesome. Reminds me of my granddaughter
She's his best operator. The right mix of patience and awareness in my opinion.
Commenting to help the algorithm. I enjoy your videos.

Ah yeah. Now you got me saying it! 😂😂😂 Next thing I’ll be saying, so on and so forth. Hahaha I love you man!😎
It all good Andy . . . I don't think anyone noticed that it took a few attempts to put the header one
I grew up operating a John deere 70 diesel 720 diesel and a 4020 open station tractors. I still have the tractors today. Still do some field work with them today
You’ve got some of the best kids I’ve ever seen. They’re hard working, smart, and generally no nonsense good people. You’ve done well Andy.
Another good video Andy KEEP THEM COMING 🐄 🚜 🇺🇲 🌽 🐘 👍
Get a can of liquid electrical tape, and a Power Probe! Nice thing is you can power up a circuit if needed while testing
Love the comment on the purple Ram... LOVE IT!!

A Power Probe is what the local mechanic uses, and he is a Top Notch guy. Even gives out his phone number and ANSWERS when he is called!
That’s kind of what we did
That is so awesome the way you get to work with your kids. I bet all their friends tell them that they have a great Dad.
I think it identifies as a raccoon today. Looked like the guy had plenty of room to get over more. Back when I was a kid the farmers I worked for always said to take your space and don’t move. Let them run into the ditch. Those words of advice wouldn’t go over well nowadays.
That's a rule to this day. If you get over, it just confuses people.
An Insurance Agent said to accommodate the best you can, but NEVER wave anyone by, because if they screw up, they can blame you. I have had local Sheriff's Department get behind me and turn on lights, but not to pass, just provide a buffer. ONCE.
I definitely wouldn't get out of the cab with that critter out there
I grew up on open station tractors. Drove them from 9 years old. Two out of the three, brakes didn"t work. Lucky I wasn"t killed.
Maintenance. It never ends! Fellow done the road had his JD 7750 out chopping in between downpours.
Brilliant video as usual. Thanks.
Nice message on the T-shirt. LOL
Another real video team keep them coming, thanks
Awesome video thanks Andy very informative 👍🇬🇧🚜🚜🚜🚜
Brilliant as always Thank
Too late Andy, you just spilled the beans
Nothing better than driving an open station JD 20 series
Another Great Video!
You are great electro detective.
Interesting to see.
Andy another fantastic video thanks for all your family's input thanks
Thnks fpr another great video Andy! I hope you are having a better day.
I'm glad u found the wiring issue wheat looks great stay safe u guys ❤
Great video keep up the awesome work you do with your family and crew.
Andy, I'm telling Mike what you did to the combine. I always hate those little things but at least you didn't cut a wire "on accident"
Another very interesting video Thank you
under norished racoon.

It’s funny the view that people have of an accident doesn’t always match up with what was caught on camera…just keep that in mind Andy!
Sometimes I watch n think wow what a legend and other times I watch and think what on earth is this guy smoking or injecting in his arm. What a roller coaster of a human to follow.
Enjoyed watching the video ANDY 😊
Hi Andy !
electric problem are not easy sometime
Good job !
Nice Western star !
Thanks Andy for your time and have a good day bud !
I feel you with Andrew defenetly would hate to see anything happen to him he is a awesome little man you have a great crew and family thanks Andy
Great video andy and crew your hand looks nice in the video and we would miss it if it was not in the video lol. Glad andrew was ok after his roller accident it was clearly the truck drivers fault, thanks for the video andy.
Perfect Bud Light truck Andy 😂😂
You need to contact your local fire department and see if they have any old fire hose. Use it as an extra shield for wiring where it rubs metal.
Sometimes fruit and vegetable growers have old lay flat irrigation hose that is good for the same thing.
He's fine. He knows what he's doing.
They already have an old firehouse in the shop
Firehose is a great buffer for rub spots. Also great to keep fuel tanks from moving on trucks.
Its great that you take pride in the saftey of not only your kids but the other employees as i know how dangerous it can be driving farm equipment on country roads Andrew's an excellent young man its a shame that happend to him to him but he has bounced back which is great keep up the good work.

I use a Fluke multimeter to find shorts. It also helps find battery draws.
Great video..
ROFL Bud Lite Truck. love it.
Tell Sarah I dig the shirt at 40:40 👌.......I tell my boss that almost every day
The purple Bud truck distracted you to where you couldn't put the header on the cart.
Your buzzer alarm in the combine needs some cold medicine 😂
Safety is your priority ❤😊😊

That was a trash panda that ran out! It should’ve had an Olight shined on it to help ID it. Whatever it was it’s the new free-range mascot!
Good looking hand Andy 😂
Wire harness cloth tape is always good to keep on hand .
Hey Andy, that purple truck belongs in Minnesota because of the purple people eaters the Minnesota Vikings
That was a raccoon that ran out of the wheat

Hi Andy. For the algorithm!
That was a raccoon that ran out of the wheat.
That's was a fun video
His tail was striped like a raccoon but it seemed a bit big. Wow!
That looked like a Scrawny Racoon ....
Your dealer can send you schematics for all of that stuff, that way you can just trace them out by color or number.Takes some of the headache out of it
Growing up ,a friend of mine's little sister was riding on an open tractor with her dad,and fell off into a hay crimper! She lost her arm from the accident.Never slowed her down ,but her dad never lived it down.
I wouldn't be able to, either. Hope the Dad found some peace.
@@MorganOtt-ne1qj He pretty much drank himself to death, very sad!

i loved opening up a new field back in my farm kid days on dads farm

Never fun to chase bad wires been there you just keep wiggling til you find it
