- This summer I went on an epic 5 day hike with friends across Jotunheimen National Park in Norway. It was definitely an adventure to remember! On the first day, while waiting for our third friend to join, Loic and I decided to summit the highest peak in Norway - Galdhøpiggen. In this video, I want to share this experience with you.

Hi, I went up there years ago, (1987) once in fog and blizzard, got to top and found a French man on the top who couldn't get down.. Next day no clouds, perfect day, what a feeling of exhilaration and achievement.
Great filming, I laughed when you realised it was not a walk in the park. Did you go up Glittertind? Norway unofficial highest mountain at 2470 metres (1 metre higher)

How many hours you guys too in total both ways?
Hey! I did not track our hike, but I would plan for at least 4-7 hours to climb and to come back down.
4 hours up, 2 hours down, not allowing for stops
How did you get to spiterstulen? And is there a hostel or hotels at the bottom?
There are busses running to Spitserstulen. There are no hostels, but there is a hut there and a campsite!
Brilliant hotel at base where he started from, every type of accommodation there
