Sounds like he spent an all-nighter with some of the locals down at Maison Blanche. Hard to believe this is the same individual who came within a second of pulling off wins at Indianapolis and LeMans in 1996.
I found really funny how the crew members jump at the car like crazy once the car hit the pitts 33:27 24 hours lemans rules is that the crew members can't touch the cars unless is in the pitts. lol
Omg I just got done watching 2017-2021 and this is nothing like that. I thought the cars were half reliable now but this… this is just CONSTANT broken down cars.
isnt it funny how they described hybrid lemans as captivating... and now we all know how boring it ended up.... bring back real world racing away from interest groups
@@18837ven just a single competitor??? like rebellion???... or other lmp1 privateers???.... i prefer big oem competitors. but corona virus will wipe out motorsports... big cuts to racing teams incoming. we might even not see much in terms of racing soon. unless big wellfare checks are signed by big gov... oh wait nevermind...
jkk20 ...that was what I meant lol. Toyota needs another manufacturer as competition, not a privateer. Only reason rebellion won 2 races this season was cause the Toyota is bopped to hell, that ain’t competition. Hybrid LMPs have provided one of the most intense endurance racing in previous years where there were at least 2+ manufacturers
As much as I love motorsport I can't go on watching this as the commentators are really annoying I understand that one had a brain injury but the rest haven't Sam posey is especially annoying
my god the coverage back then was just the pitlane constantly
Even with its issues, the Ferrari 333 SP was a great looking and sounding car.
57:15 they explain KERS but little they know it will be a thing the few next years
Dr. Don Panoz was big brained guy RIP
1:12:09 Toyota GT1 #28 Leader of the race since it's started making a full pitts stop.
1:24:24 Toyota GT1 #28 fails at braking and spins and almost gets Tboned by a GT2 porsche.
1:28:25 Toyota GT1 #28 struggles at pitts stop due to brakes problems.
1:30:23 Toyota GT1 #27 2nd place in race. making a pitts stop due to gearbox problems apparently (team toyota struggling at this point).
Thanks for the timestamps!
47:05 Hit this mark if you would like to see a run with the Nissan R390 GT1 (legend race car as many of those cars there in the gt1 category)
One of my favorite legends ever thank you!

37:30 my man johnny cecotto!
Davy Jones is cool
Davy Jones sounds like a man who has had 4 or 5 gins.
05:24 Norbert smelled it :D

ua-cam.com/video/mzULPaHGIFs/v-deo.html disagree ! All we need is a proper competitor to Toyota and we’ll be back at proper racing
