Mine either, until we at a beach where dogs were allowed, and then were people out on floaties, and they were calling him, and he decided to swim out to them... About 40 feet... after that whenever he can go swimming, he will swim... But never in a pool!

My Riley looks and acts just like Rusty.... I love these dogs!!! They are a PITA to keep cleanr=, but GREAT BREED/DOGS!!!

Setters swimming? Are you sure they're really setters? Every other one I've met or seen is terrified of the water. Most can't even stand a bath.

I've owned three and all loved the water and swimming.
The dog with the black patches on its eyes looks so much like my baby!!
My only complaint about English Setters is that they don't live very long. 10 or 11 years and cancer gets them.
