In space it doesnt matter how cold it is, there is no mass in contact with you in a vacuum to take away your body heat. You would over heat because there is nowhere for your bodyheat to dissapate.

How come the billions of stars and moon that you can see from basically anywhere on earth weren't more pronounced from that vantage point? Just deathly black? Seems like an odd description.

I thought so too, but I guess there is some scientific explanation for that. 🤷🏻‍♂️

@@JonatanBlombergInterviews how is it possible though? If you fly towards the sky and into space then you're closer to many of them them than earth is. So how do you not see them at all? That's what he described. Total darkness. That makes no sense at all. If there were no stars in sight then where exactly was he and where was he looking? I'm genuinely curious now

I wonder if its like because the sun makes earth reflect its light so bright so its basically like staring up into the sky from the ground in a very lit city, which makes it impossible to see the stars and makes the sky look black. Maybe it's the same if you only goes a tiny bit into space, the earth reflects light to much so everything else seems to turn black? All the stars and everything would still be as far away as when you're on the ground. So still only tiny dots I guess... I'm only guessing though!@@iamskorch

Interesting explanation for the and yes I would like to know if that is the reason why .
When you think of someone going to space or the edge of space you imagine them seeing all kinds of Starlight and every which direction but if the truth got out that it just looks like pitch black nothingness until you look down at Earth maybe a lot less people would pay those fortunes to go on those trips to the edge of space

@@JonatanBlombergInterviews I like your theory but I don't think that quite lines up. If the earth is reflecting that much light from the sun/stars then either we should never be able to see them from our vantage point anywhere on earth or the sun or earth/moon is not what or where they say it is.
How can something be so bright that we don't see the stars from space but everything else is pitch black?
Standing on the ground in the city where you're underneath the lights which stand hundreds of stories above you puts a light barrier between the stars and your eyes. It makes sense logically. But when you're above every single light on earth except the sun, moon and stars, I don't see how that could be the case?

How much did he pay for that ? $20 million ?
Paying that kind of money to see a lot of black space

@@gardensofthegods he was invited as a guest, basicly free publicity to put Captain Kirk in space you know. So they probably got their money back by doing that. But Shatner didn’t pay anything for it
