Happy #4thofJuly, Temptations Community! Today I bring you this special performance of the Temptations performing back in 2018.
On this day in 2018, @thetemptationsofficial performed on @PBS fourth of July show "A Capital Fourth" in Washington, DC 5 years ago. The Tempts at the time consisted of Larry Braggs, Willie Green, Ron Tyson, Terry Weeks, and the last original member Dr. Otis Williams. They performed a medley of their hits, such as, "Get Ready," "The Way You Do The Things You Do," and the Temptations National Anthem "My Girl" to end it off. The Tempts sure do know how to stay and look classy, don't they?! Larry Braggs killed the lead vocals on "My Girl!" He was a great singer for the group at the time and knew how to get the crowd going with his showmanship.
I hope everyone has a wonderful fourth of July! Have fun at the cookouts with the family and play some Temptations tunes if you can. And don't forget to watch the fireworks tonight. Enjoy yourselves today. As always, Temptations Forever.
